BTW I meet one Canadian guy named Paul last year in Hua Hin (also around 50 Years) when I had a bite at Burger King but unfortunately I lost his number when I changed my mobile lately, maybe some in this forum knows Paul ?, he seemed to be an experienced biker and had toured Europe as well as north America.

Hi Peterontheroad. The guy you mention is definitely Tom and I see he's contacted you. (Hey Tom, you'd be more than flattered that you were put at 52 wouldn't you?) We ride from El Murphy's in Hua Hin most Saturday's, meet for breakfast at 08:30. Anyone welcome and we'll be heading off next Saturday, 4th January. Hi all and hi again Tom - sorry to mix your name up !
Happy New Year to all!
I have not been on this forum over Christmas and New Year.
I took a tour from 24 to 29 of Dec from Bkk to Udon Thani, Sakhon Nakhon, Lampang, Pai, Mae Hong Son, Doi Internon and Back to Bkk = 2,600 km and then from 1 - 4 of Jan from Bkk to Uttraradit / Sukho Thai and back = 1,000 km more to visit a friend up there with my wife so I have got my Versys tested well now and are in general quite happy with the bike. Are some of you in HH next weekend 18 - 19 of Jan then I could stop by and say hi ? And pls keep me posted regarding tours, I very interested to join when possible.
