Khao Takiab map

We've been out and about again this afternoon. This time we were looking at changes to the Khao Takiab Map. I will list the potential changes below, and will give you guys 48(ish) hours to add your comment before I pass the changes to our map maker.

Inside, ICI Bistro looks ready for business, outside it's closed for low season.

Dee Dee Cafe at corner of Soi 15 is not on map.

Sideway, across from Lost Cafe is not on map.

Rom Mai, behind the former Mimi Coffee is not on map. At dinner time during high season, it's filled mostly with farangs.

Didn't see a sign (and didn't look very hard) for Sunset Blvd, but there is an empty storefront about where the map says it should be.

I've a couple of problems with what you've said though i.e.:

- Dee Dee Cafe - I'm guessing that Soi 15 is about opposite Palapon. Is this OK?
- Rom Mai - I never saw it, but I've put it next to Mimi Coffee.
- Sunset Boulevard is definitely there, I saw physically saw the sign, and there was an event advertised a couple of days ago.
- DeVino - removed.

Above reflects how I have sent my draft to our map maker. If I've got it wrong, please shout quickly because it will be another 3 months before the next survey.

You're welcome. I was down there for breakfast, thought I'd look around.

On the existing map, the bottom of the 't' in 'Lost' touches soi 15. Never been to Best Coffee, so I don't know if Dee Dee is North or South of it. Palapon is too far south.

As much as I like the place, now that I think about it, it might not do any good to put it on the map. Unless one is following specific written instructions or knows to look behind Mimi's, one isn't likely to notice the non entry way looking entry to the building behind Mimi. BTW, Mimi went out of business.

Is it possible to put our condominium on the map?
"Seacraze" is directly below "Sea Breeze" across from Oasis and Usamas.

When deciding the criterion for inclusion on this map, it was decided not to include hotels/condos. The only ones that appear are those already pre-printed on the map by Google.

The prime objective of the map is to identify the locations of bars and eating establishments.

Our map maker will see your comment, and will decide whether or not to include it. My job has been to gather raw data.

We were out yesterday morning re-checking the Khao Takiab area for map updates. Changes that were spotted are:

New, between Molina and ICI Bistro is Vitamin Sea
New, near to Jalerm is ChaMilkTea
New, next door to Corner Cafe is Heaven's Kitchen

Isn't there a new place opposite American called "Time Machine"? Bar with live music I believe.

Thanks huahin4ever, you were right, but I think I can be excused for missing it. Surveys are carried out during the day, and that must be the largest building/smallest sign ratio in Thailand

Anyway, it has been added.
