It'll be great to meet you and your hubby, Moja.

Richard: We have enough kippers and mutt putts (Scottish mutton pies) that we brought back to keep Mr.VS happy for a few months. It did involved 'borrowing' a larger case from his brother to accommodate them, as well as spare parts for the Alpha, cheese making stuff, and a large box of Cadbury's Heros. The essentials in life...

Well done :thumb:

I as usual went back with a pile of mangoes and mangostenes for my daughters and returned with kippers, smoked haddock, Yorkshire tea, malt loaf, fruit cake, crumpets, brie, gorganzola and wine gums.

Hope to be there for your presentation and I and I'm sure many would love to know the costs involved as I suspect some adventurous members would like to follow in your footsteps

Time to bump this one. The event is definitely on tomorrow (3 Aug 14) evening at 19:00hrs in Terrace 90.

Henry will be leading the show in the 'inside' part of this restaurant, which will seat up to about 25 people. However, for smokers and any guest overflow, the covered outside area will be more than adequate. The inside part has glass walls, so those sat outside will still have an unobstructed view of what is going on. This coupled with a sound system encompassing indoor and outdoor areas, there will be no limit on numbers.

Terrace 90 will be employing additional staff to ensure table service. For those eating at the restaurant afterwards, menus will be handed out during the half time break, to allow food preparation time. Cooking will start as soon as the presentation ends.

We are all looking forward to a very interesting and informative evening.

I appreciate it's difficult to be too precise due to how many questions etc, but approximate length of the presentation?

We're both looking forward to seeing some familiar and not so familiar faces. Henry's just done a run through and the talky bit will be about an hour and a quarter - then we'll try and answer as many questions as people want to throw at us (including costs, etc.).

See y'all later,
VS (aka Linda)

Yes it was one of those memorable evenings that stands out as a loving evening.
From the bottom of my heart; a BIG thank you to Henry & Linda for giving us such a nice evening.
I do believe that we all had a very good time.
Also a BIG thank you to Terrace 90, the hosts and venue for the evening.

It was great, and Henry did a great job .
It was very informative, must been a fantastic tour. Have been a long live dream to me to make such a journey, and maybe one day it would happen.
Thanks again to Linda & Henry and to BB and Norseman I think to make this a special day which I will remember with big joy.

:agree: Yes, a very interesting evening, as expected, though I couldn't stick around long to chat. Good to meet Danny Boy and Norseman at last - sorry I didn't get a chance to say hello to you, Mr Price and bsdk. :D

Shame about Henry's lisp, stutter and unintelligible Scottish accent, but Linda was looking good...
