Yes chelsea, you are the lucky winner of one bottle of beer, (or more).
You can hopefully pick up your winnings in July.
I intend to live forever - so far so good.

Winner prcscct. Let me know when you coming to Headrock next time, there's a bottle of vodka waiting for you at Bamboo Grove.

For you all that missed out, here's another chance (and hopefully one more on Sunday's final.)

Guess correctly the result on Friday's semi-final between Finland and Russia and win a bottle of vodka at Bamboo Grove. Deadline Friday 24.2 at 22.00 Thailand time.

If you win, make sure that you have a large VAT (vodka and tonic) using only the best schwepps tonic.
Any other tonic (bottle or tap) spolis the taste of the drink

Chelsea, please do not rub salt into our wounds. You must know by now that Scweppes Tonic, eithered bottled or canned, is unavailable in Hua Hin.

We do not need to be reminded of this terrible disaster. As normal Khun T has done nothing to address the issue.

Anyway well done to Finland on their narrow victory. Maybe they can earn another medal to keep in their cabinet along with their 100 metre wife carrying gold medal.

As fo tomorrows clash with arch enemies Russia, I just hope that there are plenty of medics and surgeons on standby.

Guess, I am sorry, but I did not realsie that you had no access to Schewepps products. Is there no end to your suffering in HH. I am sure that I had Schweppes Tonic in my mini bar in the Sofitel when I stayed there.

It is a good job that my GF never tried to get a G&T while she was there. She will only drink Gordons Gin and Schweppes Tonic (no other brands) and it would have been my fault that it was not available. I would have been told (why on earth did I not check first before we arrived) plus all of the other rants that she thought applicable and had been storing up for the appropriate lets have a go Steve times

Norseman, I will take you up on that kind offer. I think also that I will take up Ice Hockey tipping instead of the football. I got a lot closer with the score for the hockey than I have been doing in the IKTS competition

My goodness, I bet against my own country and win? How 'bout them apples!

Here's my proposition BG, sell my bottle and mixers by the glass/shot. I would think that would be about 20 at 100 Baht per. Then, you and some other moderators/HH residents take the proceeds to the market, round up some of the neediest kids you can find and give them a good feed.

In fact, if winners of the future games agree to do the same, perhaps turn it into a charitable event with a banner reading "HHAD CARES" at the market.

If no interest on anyone's part in doing this, just hold it...I'll be over there eventually. Thanks. Pete

Finland 4-0 Russia. Final on Sunday Finland vs Du Gamla Du Fria, which brings me back some memories. I don't want to think about the times (several) when we've had a comfortable looking lead (i.e. couple of years ago we were 5-1 up just to lose 5-6) and then lost the plot and the match. What I'm thinking of now is the World Cup Final of -95. The games were played in Sweden and the final was Swe vs Fin. The Swedes had made a song for their team which went like "It glides in". Finland went to win the final and the song became a top hit in Finland. In Sweden it didn't sell that well.

One more chance to win a bottle of vodka at Bamboo Grove.
Predict the score between Finland and Sweden on Sunday's final and win a bottle of vodka. Deadline Sunday at 20.00 Thailand time.

Hakkaa paalle!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Where, mes enfants, would there be a venue in fair Hua Hin to watch the game?

And, perchance, imbibe an ale or score.
