This is classic trolling behaviour: make a provocative remark, then sit back and wait for the outraged protests to come pouring in. Mr Plum used to specialise in this, and europtimiste has demonstrated time and again over the last year that this is his goal. Virtually impossible to ignore, I know, though that would probably be more effective than giving him what he wants.

Still, it livens up a quiet day.

I couldn't agree more a futile attempt at stereotyping and trolling. :troll:

Ha..ha..ha... You can write whatever you like, but I noticed that tourists forget their brains in their country when they travel. There is an unavoidable fact to be at the wrong place at the wrong time, but some precautions could avoid dramatic consequences. There will always be rapists, killers, burglars. The common sense is not to leave his friends and go with unknown people on a bike or car. I can only add: what a relief that this girl was not killed. Don't forget Khao Tao and other facts.

A lesson learned from personal experience, perhaps..?

This is the only sensible thing that I can take from your posts and it's such a pity that you almost add it as a footnote.

Seriously, are you just having a laugh or what.

As has already been stated on here, the road where this happened was/is still very busy at 01h00; the road is well lit up, and there are plenty of people going about. Has it not occurred to you that nobody in the group might have thought a personal bodyguard was necessary?

People, including women, walk alone in Thailand all the time. Don't believe me? I suggest you visit Khaosan road at 01h00 in the morning. You'll see plenty of people walking around by themselves.

Additionally, I believe that many, if not most tourists feel safer walking around in Thailand than they do in their own countries. The bottom line is, the rapists are the only guilty ones, period.

I only refer to facts: All of you read the Bangkok Post report, put on this site by Lev on 30th May.
She was not kidnapped, she left with them believing they will take her home............

And from your facts, you ascertain that all Brits are pi$$heads, she and her friends were "off their heads" and are completely at fault for her rape ( :tosser: ). I assume you have fairly in-depth feelings of inadequacy, but if you have a real need to troll, can I suggest doing it on a less sensitive subject.

In fact this subject has not his place on this site. You had not started with your useless comments (In fact there is nothing to comment) I would not make any clarifying statement. Just follow the news at TV or newspapers.

I wonder which part of Europe you are from. Obviously not the UK as your English is as bad as your mindset. My bet is the alcohol consumed in your country is far greater than the UK. The UK is nowhere near the leaders.
I agree that alcohol breeds idiots and my bet is you are one of them.

Yes HHtel I am not from UK and I agree my english is bad.....ha..ha..ha... I wish all of you, you could speak and write another language than your english as well as I can speak and write english, but you are unable. And one more thing I should add: If you make such a big thing on this site about this poor girl, because she is British.

Verskoon my, maar ek kan 'n tweede taal praat; en ek kan dit vlot praat. Ek sal verstaan as U 'n bietjie geskok voel, maar daar is 'n klomp mense hier wat meer as een taal kan praat; skruif en lees.

Now, perhaps something was lost in translation when you read the Bangkok Post article, but if you read it again, you may find that it does NOT actually say she was with a group of "friends." For all we know, she might only have met up with those other people that night. And, in that case, how can you just assume that they were all Brits. I often enjoy a beer or two down the road at a local shop with a small group of people. Guess what.......there is almost never a Brit there. By the way, I am not a Brit either.
