Good man, full of info about Hua Hin and Thailand. Always a straight answer and never afraid to say if he didn't know the answer.

It is sad when a man dies, it is more sad when a good man dies.

Steve was a good man. His daily life was dealing with the public in his business. He was able to connect with the individuals that he dealt with on a daily basis. These people felt he was part of their life because he connected with them on a simple, helpful level.

Nothing was too much for him, he would bend over backwards for his customers.

Every customer of his can recall him saying "any problems give me a call". that was Steve through and through, and he didn't just mean it business wise, he was a genuine star, he would help anyone with the help needed, that needed it.

I will miss him and the conversations we had, I heard about this before the forum announcement. It has affected me more than I realised, when I told my wife I couldn't talk after, I was quite chocked up.

A bright star who deemed himself dull, has left us. such selfless actions need to be celebrated.

RIP Steve, your memory, and legacy will be remembered.

Very true words well spoken, JD.
I have asked a close friend if they know when and where the funeral is going to be held. Up until now they have not been able to find out. I do not want to call his wife, the poor girl has enough to worry about.

If you, or anybody else, can find out please let us all know on here. RIP Steve.
May you be in heaven half an hour before the devil know`s you`re dead!

I knew Steve for quite a number of years and can only echo what has been written here, especially by JD.
My thought and condolences to Bom and the kids.

Somebody please help me out with a name here.

The Funeral will be on Thursday 6th at 3-00 pm. The Temple is on the hill on the way to Avalon housing estate, but I do not know the name of it.

There has been a small delay to comply with legal procedures.
May you be in heaven half an hour before the devil know`s you`re dead!

Khao Mahakassapa Monastic Residence
Pracha Samakkhi Road
Hua Hin

From the information I got it is the temple on the road that the dinosaur market is on. This market/road is off the canal road. If coming from town you will take the canal road and turn left at the light and continue on that road and you will see the temple.

From what I gathered you can go the days before the funeral around 530pm and the monks will start praying at 6 pm each night. I don't know the traditions for a funeral but my wife went today after work. The funeral/cremation will be held Thursday as stated above. I was told 4pm which is different than the 3 pm time. My wife is very close to his wife and this is where I got the info from. I will ask her again and see if she can confirm the time. I am not in the country right now but as soon as I know more I will post.

No problem, I hope many people will show. Steve was a good friend of mine and it's sad to see he is gone.

There will be prayers today/tomorrow at this temple-Khao Mahakassapa at 17.30 ,with the final ceremony on Thursday at 15.00.
This temple is located at the top end of Soi Chon Pra Than, this is the road where Dino market is and the big statue of the walking monk- the temple is just before the crossroads.

Does anyone know if the pest control business will continue? Would like to still support it as I'm sure many others will too.

All that I know just now is that his wife and family are not going to continue with it. However, negotiations may see the business sold as a going concern.
