A nice little trick i learnt is to strategically position certain items of value (including money )in different areas of a room.

Easier said then done when your 10 large beers down the line i know but make the effort....it may just save you a few quid.

i have a few nice tricks too, strategically position her in different areas of the room, then turf her out when you're ready for shut eye

ps, b-c, do the strategic positioning before you go out on the lash

Another solution then:
Get her/him to handcuff you to the side of the bed your stuff is stashed under.
If she leaves in middle of night, the cleaners have master keys which should fit your cuffs, if not they'll just clean around you
