Big Boy, if you will be over 50 and obtain the non-immigrant 'retirement' visa, this will not affect you.
Also on a retirement visa you will not be doing 'visa runs' but reporting to the immigration dept within HH police station every 90 days.

I don't think it's a case of right or wrong, the truth is that it is difficult to find out what is the truth when they keep moving the goal posts, with this and other things, I tried to do this properly but all the information I got from the HH immigration office, i repeat, THE IMMIGRATION OFFICE, was wrong when I went to penang, this is not a land of smiles it is a land of nobody knows what they are talking about, and smiling doesn't make it right. If you are legal today maybe tomorrow you won't be, just give all your money, house and pick up to skinny Thai bint and clear off, have done with it.
