My wife and I were in Thailand last year mid-May to mid-June. Spent time in HH, BKK, and bouncing around in pickups all over the country. Pretty common to have a heavy thunderstorm in afternoon. Cooled things off nicely and wonderful evenings.

Flooding and spilling of raw sewage in HH was a major annoyance.

Wish I was in Thailand enjoying the cold. It's 42 C here in Melbourne.

Hey,my car trip into work this morning was driving 10mph through thick as pea-soup (Fog)dropping down into Cheshire from the Peak District.I can't wait for 100 degrees during our Easter holiday!!!!!!!

Got to 43.3 yesterday in Melbourne Thats 110 in old money, and the same today.

Today in the suburbs in melbourne it has reached 47.7 !!! That is 117 in the old!! Would take the weather even during songkran than this heat here!!
