Bamboo Grove wrote:Good scores for most of us last round. Let's see what happens today. A friend of mine from Bangers has taken the top spot now. Our league seems to be fairly good quality league as I'm on top of my "Arsenal Forever" league (which has 50 participants) but only 4th in HHSC league.
My guess is that your score was boosted by the fact tha Aresnal finallly managed an away win.

Anyway very high scoring by all this week with mostly healthy Banker Bonuses giving us a boost.

Its annoying that everytime I get a good score, so do alll those above. Plus I'm being hijacked by my new laptop!! I can't get the settings right - no colour on this page - and on IKTS, I can't see where I've played my banker and insurance. The banker was meant be on the mancs on boxing day and I got the score right - but when I checked the results which shows me where I had played what, I had played both my banker and insurance on Chelsea!!!!!! Grrrr.

I sympathise caller.

My predicament is much worse though. I did not realise that there was football today until Lomu mentioned it. I then forgot, then my ADSl went down and by the time I submitted my predictions it was too late. The autopilot that takes over is useless. Not only did it get my worst score ever of -5 but it has now lost my three point BB. My real score was +7.

I have now sunk to the depth of embarrassment. Better get my act together this new year's eve.

Well I think I can categorically say that I don't know the score. I can't blame the auto pilot, I did remember there were games and it's all my own fault! Bloody Manc teams...mumble....bloody Wigan.....mumble....etc :guns:

Caller your quote "I had played both my banker and insurance on Chelsea!!!!!! Grrrr" is a definite case of "I used to be indecisive but I am not quite sure now".

I have nothing much to shout about as I think that I have scored only 6pts in the last 3 weeks and droped about 3000 places in the ladder. Only good thing is my bankers bonus is upto 3 again, so here's looking for a good score this weekend.

Did not see last nights game against Man City but watched the game against Fulham. Thought that Crespo's goal was a cracker. It also looks as though Joe Cole carried on last night from where he left off against Fulham.

One thing I did see in the game against Fulham was a candidate for save of the year from our own John Terry. To everyone else watching the game, it would have been one of the most blatant penalties not given this year.
As biased as I am about Chelsea, even I had to have a good laugh about it, and think that was a definitley a candidate for save of the year.

Those are the things that can make or break a season for some teams. It could have cost Fulham the chance of a very unexpected three points.

Yeah, it was funny, wasn't it!!! Can't wait to see my Fulham friend next week, have to be (quite) nice, though, as they're getting me tickets for the return match!

Got that Chelsea. I did not get the exact score correct but got the goal difference right and had my BB on it

I don't want to harp on about it though as there are a few Hamsters lurking on this site.

As I matter of interest what did you put it on? I had mine on Chelsea again and got the score wrong but the goal difference correct.
