Here is the current map again. When the image comes up:

1) Tick the satellite box
2) Hit the - or + to reduce/enlarge.

When you reduce, you'll see that the biggest mess is indeed Chumphon south, and a bit north. I imagine not impossible for it to work its way up into the HH area.

That link of yours just hangs my wonky old computer, Pete.

The synoptic charts show it much better. Just open and click on the chart to enlarge it.
The upper winds above 925 hPa show that nasty low pressure cell a bit further south than Chumphon.

I don't know but one of my dogs was greatly unimpressed by the thunder, the poor thing was shaking like something in a Tom and Jerry cartoon!

Well I guess we can say the 'rain season' is over now, except for possibly a couple of showers to arrive before the year is out.

Do I order a water truck or not? Forcast on accuweather looks like a wet couple of weeks ahead. As a YORKSHIRE man I hate paying for water if it's going to rain, I'd rather spend the money on booze and loose women!!

Strangely enough I did check Accuweather and Weather Underground and there was no sign of rain except for one day, now its rain all next week and following into the next Monday and Tuesday too - anyway the more the better as we shall soon enough be without.

Could be right about rain next week. There's a whole bunch of lows lined up again from the Philippines to India. All they need to to is come North a bit.

Yes BB :-( had to look down the back of the sofa for the money for a truck of water! Mrs NOKYAI was not impressed by my water saving...." If it's yellow, let it mellow and if it's brown flush it down" in regard to toilet ettiquette !

But my charitable work on Soi 80 was well received :D
