[quote="BaaBaa."]Dave Whelan is a gobshite, I've said so before.

Why the anti-Whelan sentiment?

Do you know Boltons Chairman? Stokes? No, but we know this gobshite. Poked his nose into Liverpools business in the press a few to many times for my liking.

As Shankly said 'At a football club, there's a holy Trinity- the players, the manager and the supporters. Directors don't come into it. They are only there to sign the cheques.'

Sadly that is no longer true. The supporters are only there to provide a supplementary income to television money. Supporters have no rights even though past success of a club depended on them.

How big is your nose, Pinocchio?

Surprised by Chelsea's record in the premiership - which is what you are referring to - but you speak with a forked tongue about Terry, as you no-doubt know?

You must be a proud member of the 'talk out of their jacksy about John Terry' club, which keeps many of the more stupid members of the UK's football fraternity in orgasmic delight and messy underpants.

Serial adulterer, selling tours, abused Americans the day after 9/11, pissed up a bar in a night club, accused of racism.

Seems straight up to me.

I've said before but a colleague goes to the gym with Micah Richards brother, his cousin is also married to Vincent Kompany, the northern based section of the England squad despise John Terry.

He's very easy to dislike Caller, I don't mind Lampard and quite like Cole even with his misdemeanours but Terry, nah!

Well, BaaBaa, if only we were all so perfect!

So lets think about it. Serial adulterer - really (and be careful, he's had a few payouts)? 9/11, well yes, he and several others including Saint Frank, but they were younger then, a bit the worse for wear and the full facts weren't clear (to them) and they were all very remourseful. Pissed up in a night club - wow - how terrible, a bit like the sainted Gerrard being cleared of assault after attacking a waiter and hey, another England captain. If you mean the event where he was charged and then cleared, he was what, 19 or 20, and well, well the video was all that was needed to prove his innocence, a jury found him not guilty and questions were raised by his lawyers as to why he was charged at all - that actually meant he left that Court without a stain on his character, the difference being that he was seen not to be repeatedly thumping someone in self defence, unlike you know who?

He's not actually been accused of outright racism, but rather a racially aggrevated public order offence, still serious, but at the other extreme to what you are implying.

On saying all of that, he ain't perfect and I am well aware of that. But he's a footballer and few doubt his prowess as a player and leader - not just fans, but fellow pros and especially managers, as is repeatedly demonstrated - thats what footballers should be judged on, but in this media led world? There are a few old pros out there who must be thinking, there but for the grace of God go I, but some don't get to the other end now.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/euro20 ... ds-newsxml

But its well known/recorded he has many friends, both in and out of the game and of all hues, whatever Micah Richards whatever claims. One of your stalwarts is a good friend of his and for what its worth (not much IMHO), someone else who got married the same day took a heli-ride south to spend an hour or so with him and his new wife.

He just lets the others do the talking.

For whats its worth, I predict he will retire from international football after the euros, not sure how the court case will go, he will stay with Chelsea after finishing playing and be a future manger.

IMHO, he has been the outstanding England defender of his generation and possibly the best since Bobby Moore? Even after an indifferent season, the premiership stats have him as the 4th most effective defender in the premiership.

Yes, he can be a pillock, but he's our pillock.

Ferdinand has been better and by "pissed" I actually meant he'd urinated up a bar. Good luck in the final though, rooting for ya.

Not my original thoughts but funny:

Considering Liverpool`s problems finding someone to accept their job maybe they should start a national competition "Kop Idol"

Klopp was very inconsiderate turing down the job and depriving the Sun of the headline, "Klopp Kop Flop.
