90 mins of very heavy rain up on Soi 112. Just put the car in the street that's one less job on my list done. Now watching my Misses scrub the sand wash with this free water and she is a Yorkshire lass at that. Think she may have som Thai in here

I've just seen a weather warning saying that it could hit us again from 10pm tonight, and last most of tomorrow. Huge power outages are expected, and it warns people to have torches, candles, matches etc handy.

I just put my girlfriend back on the bicycle generator. Can't hurt to top off the batteries. :)

It's termite swarming season and it always starts after a good rain, and usually in the evening. Your mouth like creatures could indeed be termites.

Where did you see this report? Was it supposed to be for Hua Hin?

It was on a friend's (who is usually very reliable) website.

In fairness, he said Hua Hin was on the fringe of the storm, and was mainly advising against travel anywhere North of Hua Hin.

It's fine out there today. Clear skies again.
At least got my golf in yesterday and it was a cool walk. Only a few spots of rain about halfway round.

The AccuWeather website forecast rain for 10 and 11 this morning, yet there's barely a cloud in the sky, so maybe that's it for another month or two?

Satellite maps show a few storms out at sea but the area around us to be clear. Few clouds around south of HH but nothing threatening
