Yeah, should be a good game, both in decent form, I just fear that you're almost the ideal side/setup to beat us, we like a possession game, with our fullbacks pushing high, you're a very quick counter attacking side and you've become a bit of a bogey side for us over the last 2 or 3 years.
I agree. The last time I watched Liverpool, they were in a slump and looked pretty ordinary. Judging from results, things have changed recently. Hopefully not enough!

Obviously won't win player of the year from journos or players but we all know the truth.
not sure what you mean ,but why can he not win.
i think he is up in the top
Politics, (past "issues" and being foreign) there is 2 awards, 1 voted by Journalists, 1 voted by players.
I really can't see the Journalists voting for him although the tide does seem to be turning a touch, players generally seem to be lead by the tabloid and Sky shtick. We'll see.

We're improving, no doubt, our last 6 wins have been 24 scored 0 conceded, it's either all executed perfectly or we'll get a hiding of Villa or WBA at Anfield, we don't seem to be able to win ugly yet or just ride a game out and get 3 undeserved points.
A cracking first half, very even, very open, 2 great goals lots of attacking flair.
One of the things I like about Spurs these days is that they tend to play the same style home and away.
I reckoned there would be 5-6 goals in this game, with no more than a 1-goal difference between the two. I still think that's likely.
The false grin is about right, BaaBaa! I'd have been slightly disappointed with a draw before we gifted Liverpool an equaliser, but to lose is chronic stupidity. Two daft mistakes and a bit of generous refereeing, and we gifted it to an enthusiastic Liverpool. But it was our own fault.
I'll tell you what really got to me - a few minutes after our 2nd goal, I saw AVB looking very het up and making 'slow it down' motions. And I think that's what Walker had in mind when he made that insane back pass to Lloris - keep possession. We don't need to do that. We keep possession by playing a quick-passing game. Slowing it down when we're ahead is one of the reasons our goal difference isn't better than it is.
Keep the pressure on; that's why we were ahead in the first place, FFS!
Regardless of the final score today, I think we look a much better side now that Defoe is back and Adebayor is out with a bruised ego, or whatever is wrong with him.
Great 1st goal for the scousers, but the spuds right back is whom? I ask because he forget what he is there to do. Still, a good result for Chelsea and after todays 2nd half at HQ, we just might have remembered what we're about!

Yes, in many ways he reminds me of a classy right-footed version of Luiz...
I was deliberately watching and comparing Walker and Johnson tonight, and neither of them is living up to their potential, but Walker is more of a threat going forward. I think there was added pressure on Walker because Lennon wasn't playing in front of him, but I've said before that he is danger of becoming more of a liability than an asset. And Assou Ekotu isn't playing to the same level as before his long lay-off.
Dawson and Vertonghen were excellent, and the Belgian has always show the potential for a few goals.
Reminds me of the Arsenal turning point last year. Hope that history doesn't repeat itself. I said to a few liverpool mates before the game I would have settled for a draw however the way were played during the first period of the second half I really thought wow we are bloody good and started counting the 3 points, the gilfi/goalie save could have wrapped it up and we would have murdered them. Complacency which walker seems to have a lot of and a mistimed kick by defoe kicked us up the arse. We will have to get back to winning ways quickly. We also missed the Lennon threat heaps. Onto Liverpool they looked good, when they moved the ball quickly and what would we have been like if Rednapp signed Suarez. Title contenders for sure, he's some player!
