Watched the finale of Happy Valley last night - great ending to a great series - only downside is that they are adamant there won’t be a fourth series which is a great shame, but it’s definitely ended while at the top!!

I've never even seen a clip of this show...

I'll give it a go

There were two earlier series made 7-8 years ago, whereas the current season is hot off the press - last nights finale has received many 5* reviews by the critics, so it’s not just me recommending it!!

Just started Tulsa King with Sly Stallone which I'm enjoying so far.

The Mayor of Kingstown has also started with season two.

Tulsa King - at the start I found it reasonably entertaining, but tbh I got a bit bored of it. He's a natural in that role though

Happy Valley - watched first 2 eps (S1) and I certainly shall be continuing

Unforgotten - ITV Crime drama. I watched Series 1. Very good

THE TERMINAL LIST

Just finished this American thriller/drama about a US Navy SEAL who has a personal vendetta after he has been wronged.

Nothing that we haven't seen before but a thoroughly decent production, pretty entertaining, just not to be taken too seriously.

I certainly never thought about ditching it at any point (unlike some others recently)

7.5/10

HAPPY VALLEY

Just finished series one. Yes that's correct series ONE! I'm so late to the party on this one it's embarrassing!

I enjoyed it, it was a good solid drama thriller. Looking forward to series 2 tonight

I'm loosely aware of all the hullabaloo about S3 but I've avoided it so no spoilers please.

8/10

I've been meaning to watch for some time, but for one reason and another, I've never got around to it - you're at least one season in front of me!!

For all the Trekkies out there, Star Trek Picard resumes with its third and final season on Feb. 16.

Around The World In 80 Days with David Tennant as Philias Fogg, on BBC last year. Hugely entertaining, easy watching, humour and drama.

Only one series so far but a second is greenlit.

And Mortimer and Whitehouse Go Fishing. Humorous but heartfelt, with great locations. Maybe this one has already been mentioned.

Happy Valley certainly has but I'll ping it, because it's superb drama.

Yep, great fun.

It has, but it's well worth another. As CJ says, it's a great laugh (naturally, given the 2 stars), but it's also about getting older and dealing with serious health problems (heart surgery in the case of these two). Some fantastic locations in the UK, and even the fishing is quite interesting. Loads of series - start at the beginning (on iPlayer) and work your way through.
This is the way
