Stay with it, it will get better and grow on you!!
If there’s nothing else to watch, I don’t mind admitting that I have a soft spot for Vera!! - although it’s fairly predictable it’s easy watching. Not so keen on MM although I have watched it in the past.
Another similar type programme “Endeavour” based on the young Inspector Morse, has a new and last series 9 starting this coming Sunday on ITV - of the three programmes, I like this one the most.

OOoooo goodie! That on'e definitely worth looking out for. If you haven't seen these, you really should catch up.
Thanks for the heads up DB. It's good to see that even at your advanced age you still have your wits about you!

It’s good that we can all have a laugh without getting when someone takes the p***!!
I’m quite a fan of Endeavour and especially like the old style policing by the likes of DCI Fred Thursday (Roger Allam).
I was at school with Roger Allam, though I can't say I knew him as he was a few years ahead of me. I do remember that he had a cracking singing voice. Much of his acting career has been in the theatre where he is highly respected.

This looks like it could well be worth a watch - "Daisy Jones and the Six" - On Amazon Prime from March 3rd (USA), so no doubt available to download from the usual suspects shortly after - Oh, and Suki Waterhouse....... Hmmmmmmm
"Based on the New York Times best-selling novel, Daisy Jones and the Six, follows the story of the iconic 1970s band, fronted by two feuding yet charismatic lead singers, Daisy Jones and Billy Dunne. Drawn together by personal and artistic chemistry, their complicated musical partnership catapulted the band from obscurity to unbelievable fame. And then, after a sold-out show at Chicago's Soldier Field, they suddenly called it quits. Now, decades later, the band members finally agree to reveal the truth. Set to the soundtrack of original music from the Daisy Jones and the Six-this is the story of how an iconic band imploded at the height of its powers."
"Daisy Jones & the Six, an upcoming Prime Video series, will follow a fictional, dramatic '70s rock band partly inspired by Fleetwood Mac. The show is based on a book of the same name, written by The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo author Taylor Jenkins Reid."
