PS..Lindosfan's recommendation of The Mauritanian, seconded by me.
But not so much by me. All a bit ponderous, I thought. Okay if you've nothing better to do.
Say's the swooning Gal Gadot fanboy

I noticed that and the reviews are very mixed.
I've just started watching it so I'll comment later. My initial thoughts were that I've never seen either of them make a bad movie. With three of them together, it should be a wing dinger. But maybe they're passed their prime.
Having watched the movie, I have to agree with the ratings. Very watchable but well below what I expected. Without those 3, I doubt whether the movie would have seen light of day.
Maybe they should just enjoy their retirement.
I've also just finished watching The Courier. Now that is an excellent movie. 'Based on a true story' and starring Benedict Cumberbatch at his best, it is set in the cold war and chronicles the events of Greville Wynne.

Am I getting too picky? Or maybe I've been watching too many 'action' films. Anyway, I'd classify this as worth watching, without being excellent. The fact that it's a little slice of modern history is in its favour. As is Cumberbatch.
(Mind you, the absence of Gal Gadot is a major minus...)
The new Mortal Kombat is out on YTS for any fans of the franchise. Mixed reviews but it can't be worse than the previous attempt to movify the video game (2% Rotten Tomatoes score ).
I don't trust children. They're here to replace us.

Just finished this and well worth a watch. Super gore fight scenes, mega cheesy dialogue and, of course, the odd 'FATALITY' here and there. Does the game justice.
