Look at this and be thankful we're not in Manila or surrounding. http://www.sattmet.tmd.go.th/newversion/mergesat.html

Some sources said the storm will sit for days before turning north and if it does, 1 and 1/2 meter of rain likely.  There is another storm right behind it as can be seen on the Satellite.

If the storm doesn't turn north, we'll get some of it next week. Pete

Much more impressive and 'scary' and I believe 'real time' is the link:

I can barely remember those sweltering mid 90's Hua Hin days with humidity so high I felt like I was drowning, and my clothing so wet I looked like I'd gone swimming fully dressed. I woke up to sunny skies and 37F (3C) this morning and I love it!
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

It looks as if you'll get some wet over there today and tomorrow. What I'm looking at says 13mm today. Big blob of cloud and rain out in the upper gulf at the moment. Pete

We should be almost at the end of the season, unless things will be topsy turvy due to climate change. I for one wouldn't mind an entire year of occasional showers! Pete

The crystal ball says the weekend is going to be wet, for HH and the East Coast. 40-45MM in total Friday thru Sunday. Pete
