To add another twist to the mood, we harvested some Jack Fruit from our tree and it's now ripe. The wife cut all those this morning while the pie was cooking. If you close your eyes and use your imagination, the fruit smells a bit like fresh Christmas trees. Only in Thailand! Pete

I've just been reading the weather warning for Prachuab Kiri Khan for 21 to 24 Dec. Sounds as if you could be swimming your way around the golf course next week lomu.
Interesting satellite image. One ex-typhoon and ex-tropical storm coming together. Question now I guess is if it will make a turn into the gulf and intensify. Reports aren't saying much at the moment, except some rain Dec 22-23-24. Pete
UPDATE: The rainmaker hitting the southeast coast around Chumphon is inching north towards Hua Hin. We had a half hour of heavy rain here in Rayong last evening. Below satellite links still accurate showing current data. Pete

^ The way it looks now I don't think it's going to make it north of where it is at the moment. But......the BBC said rain for Bangkok tomorrow so I'm lost concerning further predictions at the moment. Pete

No sign of rain where I am, it was fairly cloudy this morning but that's broken and largely blue skies now. Pity, because the towns water has dried up so not enough to water the garden tomorrow
They were predicting rain at 5 am this morning but not a sight of it.............but I have no problem with them bring 2 hours late, as we are getting a nice shower now.
I added a web cam for Cha Am to Weather Underground. Boring, but if you want a quick glimpse of what it's like outside in this part of the world, it works. Only active during the daytime.
Refresh is every four minutes. However, I depend on WU grabbing the still images from my website. I'm not sure how often they do that. It should be the same.
