Vaccines - Covid 19
Re: Vaccines - Covid 19
The interval for Pfizer/Pfizer, in France, is 4+ weeks.
Re: Vaccines - Covid 19
My grandson, 17, had his 1st doze of Pfizer on July 27th, will get his 2nd doze on August 18th
Re: Vaccines - Covid 19
At the time, I wasn't actually aware the 2nd Pfizer jab could be given just 3 weeks after the first. I waited it out to the 8 week mark. Some studies still suggest better protection the longer the gap, so I'm happy I waited it out.

Incidentally, I was told by the nurses to expect more side effects the 2nd time round (rather than just a sore arm). Nothing. Nothing at all. Not even much of a sore arm. They lied to me.

I don't trust children. They're here to replace us.

Re: Vaccines - Covid 19
To make it even more illogical, it's not even a vaccine that (fictionally) turns people into zombies in the movie - it's a modified measles virus.sateeb wrote: ↑Wed Aug 11, 2021 4:44 pm Good god these anti vaxxers are a smart bunch. They are now referring to the Will Smith movie I Am Legend saying that the vaccine can turn you into a zombie prompting the movies writer to say "Oh. My. God. It's a movie. I made that up. It's. Not. Real.".

https://coconuts.co/bangkok/news/no-tha ... zer-doses/No thanks to Anutin, Thais praise Joe Biden for Pfizer doses
Sometimes giving credit where it’s due is about denying it where it isn’t.
After a placard praising Thailand’s unpopular public health minister for vaccines donated by the United States went viral to bitter gasps, people responded by going out of their way to thank the man they felt deserved props: U.S. President Joseph Biden.
“Mr. Joe Biden, president of the United States of America, gave Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines to health workers Aug. 9, 2021,” read one sign held in an inoculation-selfie.
Some were motivated by resentment after seeing the original placard crediting Anutin “Nu” Charnvirakul, who’s become widely reviled for his handling of the pandemic.

.............and my worse fears are being realised:
I guess I'm going to have to get my arse down to HHH to find out what is going on.
GroveHillWanderer, has your record gone the same?

Re: Vaccines - Covid 19
It does look a bit of a mess.
Now, how do I cancel my appointment? I don't relish joining the inevitable crowd at HHH. I'm fixed up with the BCCT for myself, my wife and daughter. They have no chance of a vaccination in the foreseeable at HHH. They're 55 and 33 so not in a 'risk' group. Judging by the reports from people on the forum, BCCT have it very well organised and sounds a much better option. Socially distanced, ample parking, in and out in under an hour, plus of course it's AZ.

Re: Vaccines - Covid 19
Did you register at Bluport or MV? If yes, I don't think you can cancel. If you registered on Doctor Ready Prachuap, you would have been issued with a cancellation number when you registered.
HHH for programmed vaccinations is run properly i.e. Socially distanced, ample parking, in and out in under an hour, but of course, Sinovac for the first dose.

I registered at HHH 3.
Re: Vaccines - Covid 19
Yes, I remember now - it was at the same time, so I don't think you can cancel. I will definitely go down on Monday to sort my record, so I will ask how to cancel then. I have a couple of other friends on the next list who need to cancel as well.
