Sorry. It crashed after a power outage and I've been in Korat. Planning to visit Cha Am this coming week. I'll try to get it running again.

We had a 10 min shower last night......
I said to Mrs N " I smell rain" , she said " no chance", so we had our usual B100 bet.
It's not many times I beat her
Enjoying 'Retirement'....So many jobs to do, I don't know how I ever had time to work!

We had the same (that's rain rather than the bet) but unfortunately it was hardly enough to wet the ground and it had dried up within an hour. They are forecasting more during this coming week, hopefully a bit more this time.

Where I live it was extremely hard rain for an hour and now just very light - about 4-5 cms in total, so lots of surface water everywhere.

How about this! This is the same type of storm we've been getting in Rayong for the past 2 weeks. A 15-20 minute gully washer, then blue skies. Pete

The northeast monsoon across the South and the Gulf of Thailand will intensify with isolated heavy rain expected and the sea likely 2-3 meters height in the Gulf. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats keep ashore. For people living in coastal of the Southern east coast should beware of waves lapped on the shore as well.

My Cha Am weather web cam seems to be working again.

To be honest I'm not sure what went wrong. When I arrived at my condo this afternoon it was already online.

I have a web page showing the current image as well as the most recent time-lapse video:

The time-lapse for the 19th was especially interesting.

Sorry, I've never been able to figure out how to embed a YouTube video in this forum. I can do it elsewhere, just not here. If someone would drop me a PM explaining how to do it, I'd be grateful.

Take the "S" off of https, delete everything after Og.

EDIT: You'll see that when you open your link up again in You Tube, the "s" is back in the https. The "s" simply needs to be deleted when posting to You Tube between the brackets:
