You wimps! I was just outside in -3 degree temperature (and loving it!)
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

On my phone's weather app it shows 17C, feels like 14C. Wind chill in HH?

This is great weather, sleep was good the early morning was refreshing and I have started a pot of beef stew in the slow cooker. Feels like autumn back where I am from.

12ºC here in Korat. For the first time in my memory I actually put on long trousers because of the cold.

Sorry, the web cam is down again. My condo uses a very odd captive portal system which knocks you off even if you're actively using the Internet. I may have to give up on the Cha Am web cam.

I hope not. We need more, not less local web cams.

For reasons that are not clear to me, the condo has set up a captive portal even on wired Internet connections. I can see having them for WiFi, but wired? I've written some software that gets around the problem most of the time, but when the captive portal starts continuously knocking me off, there's not much I can do; especially from here in Korat….

I agree it felt very cold. I had to look through all the cupboards to finds blankets for everyone in the evening and of course I didn't bring any jackets from Europe last time! Lucky grandma is sending some socks for next time!

So glad the cold snap has passed and we're back to complaining '"It's too bloody hot!"

I enjoyed wearing long pants and long sleeved shirt with an undershirt for a change. There were some strange sights. I saw a guy in MV, sandals and shorts and then on his upper body,a formal shirt and the jacket of a nicely tailored wool suit.

It may not have passed because Thai TV were reporting yesterday pm that equally cold weather will be back 1st 2nd February - we shall see but Accuweather does not show this to be the case, in infact rather the opposite !!

Fogged in in Bangkok this morning. Don't know about the airport, but where I am the visibility is less the half a kilometer.

Storm warning for South, colder in North
Rainstorms and heavy seas are forecast in the Gulf of Thailand from Feb 5-9 and disaster prevention and mitigation teams have been put on alert in nine southern provinces.

The nine provinces are Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat.

Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Department chief Chatchai Promlert said on Thursday the northeasterly monsoon was expected to gain strength over the South and the Gulf of Thailand. It would bring heavy rainfalls to areas in the nine provinces. Waves in the Gulf of Thailand were forecast at 2-3 metres high.
