newlife wrote:Wow! Happy to know that you all like Kimchi! :-) Of course, I can share them with you! Normally I get them from my anties or buy them since I'm not good at making Kimchi.. But am good at cooking with Kimchi such as Kimchi Fried Rice, Kimchi Soup, Kimchi Pancake etc... Love to share Korean culture and love to learn your culture! Hmmm...look forward to moving over soon! Then have a great weekend there~
The first time I ate kimchi (is that the right spelling?) was in a Korean restaurant in London. "What's this then?" was my initial thought.
I never looked back and spent a bit of money trying to impress clients. I told them it was cabbage that had been buried for years.
Didn't seem to impress them - I just ate it all!!!
Hi All,
I have lived around Hua Hin and Cha-Am for the past nine years, I generally have a good idea of what can and can't be done, thai etiquette etc. so hopefully I will be able to advise our readers on certain subjects from time to time.
Glyn.
Hi all of you Hua hiners! I just moved to Hua Hin last month. I intend 6 winter months here and back home for other 6. I am an artist - painter. I hope to find other girls my age (over 40 that I can make friends with, so....... where do all the nice girls hang out?
I have browsed this forum on and off for a while but am finally registering. I'm in HH now for a couple of months, hoping to do some kitesurfing - just rounding up the equipment.
I'm Canadian, in my 30s, English teacher in Korea, a bit aimless but nevertheless generally enjoying being alive.
This is my fourth trip to Thailand so far and will be my longest. I keep on coming back to Hua Hin - really like it here. Just the right size of place and the people have been great.
To newlife: annyeong haseyo, bangabseubnida, I have lived in Korea for 3 years teaching English, would like to practise Korean with you or something.
I'm a bit shy but I might get the courage to attend the party at Johnnie Walker's on the 10th...
I have been to HH and Cha-Am 6 times now in the last 3 years, I love it, and now plan to buy a house with a pool as an investment, anyone know how to create a Ltd company in Thailand? or does anyone have a House for sale where I can just purchse the Shareholding, i don't want to pay much more than £100,000 (around 6,500,000TB).
hi everybody,
had my first trip to thailand in dec 06 for 6 weeks. loved it, nothing but good memories.
loved travelling around the north & east but equally loved bangkok & hua hin.
looking forward to going back soon.
I'm kinda new to this forum but but was in Hua recently. I hope to go back. I'm Nordic and I went to Webster. I was one of the spoiled rich kids playing on daddy's money that I ntoiced somebody had complained about either on this or another forum.
I am an undergrad media major so as you might imagine I'm all about free speech, Remember the cartoon controversy, that's from my country.
