Fine by me too, desite you both being Sours supporters - welcome aboard D-M
I offered a couple of criticisms of the quiz on the previous month but said I was keen to come back and looked forward to a return of form and that is exactly what we had last night. My thanks to management and staff. A good time was had by all.
I'm off to Blighty soon and will have to miss the January edition - with regrets.
As always my son and I had a very good time. We were introduced to a nice couple who we were teamed up with. Despite barracking from the football hooligans on the terraces of the next table, we thought we were in with a shout until our joker round, where we failed to pick up any points
Well I nearly fell off my chair when i read the posts this morning.
We had the biggest turnout of people, thanks to all who came and it was good to see barry,dm, terry, johnnyk thanks for your support. We actually had too many people and couldnt really handle it, in future we will limit to 10 tables and teams can book in advance.
Jockey did a stellar job with quite a noisy crowd and everyone seemed to enjoy the questions and I heard plenty of laughs from the kitchen!
Now for the weird part, mr centermid, I thought I knew who you were but clearly dont and I would have hoped you would have introduced yourself. If you had complained last night I would have complelety understood as the food that we had planned, (10kg of belly pork) didnt happen (tit) and we just had to come up with something which I wasnt happy with at all.
So I guess last time you were just unhappy that you didnt win and went on a rant about everything, anyway I can live with that and please say hello in February.

It’s none of my business what people say and think of me. I am what I am and do what I do. I expect nothing and accept everything. It makes life so much easier.
Well, if I learned one thing last night, it was why BB drags his son along and chains him to the chair. To answer Lady Gaga questions!
I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed myself, in spite of being lumbered with a pair of dopey old fogeys, and apologise if I got a bit raucous as the evening progressed...
The last Thursday of the month is being penciled into my diary.

Hi BB, good to see you again lat night - and sorry about the football hooligans
If you look at centermid's post above, you'll see that JW's comment was addressed directly towards him because he will not be in LOS in January (centermid said: "I'm off to Blighty soon and will have to miss the January edition - with regrets."
Any, it was a great night - many thanks to JW, Jockey and the team for making things run pretty smoothly with so many people there!
Move the pool table out and bring in more tables is the answer
