The Blues are the most frustrating team to watch in all of history!
Good talent but game after game they lose because of bad kicking, again today as well resulting in a 22-22 tie with the Bulls. Could have won it with a penalty kick at 79 minutes, but missed as usual!

Turn on TRUE 669 and look at the Sunwolves stadium in Tokyo. Consistently a losing record but their marches are always almost sold out both in Tokyo and when they play in Singapore. The high flying New Zealand and Australian reams could only wish for attendance that the Sunwolves get. Go figure.

Re: The Rugby Thread
I was watching a report yesterday on rugby in Japan prior to the RWC in September. There was a big focus on "foreign players" and also the Sunwolves - not to mention their supporters. Huge and VERY dedicated/loyal support - great to see a growing "rugby world" in Asia, very sad to see the demise of the Sunwolves - purely money orientated IMHO. Why not drop an Oz or SA team, aren't we trying to grow rugby? Give them a decent chance & the supporters to see first class rugby!PeteC wrote: ↑Sat Jun 01, 2019 12:15 pm Turn on TRUE 669 and look at the Sunwolves stadium in Tokyo. Good one going on in Fiji between Crusaders and Chiefs. 20-19 at the half. The heat is killing them there, even in the evening. It's winter weather in New Zealand now.

^ Quite a game. The best Super Rugby match I've seen this season. The people of Fiji really got a treat!

Pharvey, I'm assuming SuperBru will have something for the RWC. You can handle that unless your travels prevent it. If so, let me know.

Re: The Rugby Thread
Yes, I'm sure Superbru will have something available closer to the date. I'm happy to set up a pool when available and will keep my eyes open.
