The above gives total vaccinations for the province, but the link also provides figures for Hua Hin district, which I would say are way above national and prachuabkhirikhan averages.

86,969 needle 1 vaccinations (96.03%)
67,503 needle 2 vaccinations (74.54%)

Figures presumably based on numbers of registered adults and maybe children eligible for vaccination.

An interesting needle 1 %. We know the vaccination listing is currently at 24,888. I know people whose number is well into the 30,000s. So at least 10,000 still waiting for needle 1. If 86,969 equates to 96.03%....................

Obviously maths has changed since I was a lad.

The closure of Chatchai Market has been extended to 24 Oct.

Announcement this evening. Chatchai Market will re-open on the 18th.

24,888 is on Mor Prachuab Phrom - province wide. The numbers I gave are for Hua Hin.

Is it province wide? I didn't realise that. I still know quite a few people who haven't even had jab 1. I find 96.03% to be very high, but if the queuing system is province wide, I can't disagree, but I am suspicious. We just have to hope they aren't bending the truth for Recharge, in the same way Phuket did for Sandbox.

According to Cha-cha-cha's statement, 'Recharge' and 'Sandbox' are no longer in the vocabulary come 1st Nov. It appears the whole country is to open for fully vaccinated visitors from the stated 10 countries with no quarantine and therefore freedom to travel within Thailand.
That being the case, truth or lie doesn't really matter.

Seems to me the number of 'un-clustered' cases in Hua Hin and Pranburi are increasing. Which is a rather worrying trend.

I've been noticing the same trend. I was at HHH earlier today for my quarterly check-up. The Covid testing area was busier than I've seen for a while - of course, they could all have been negative.

Our worst 3 day period in Hua Hin since August. Probably the perfect time to lower our Covid status on the road to re-opening
