Highlights of yesterday's matches on in a couple of hours, so I'll certainly take a look :thumb:
I think the match went over 90 minutes, but don't quote me. Controversial ending, perhaps. Ref error at the beginning of the ending mess, probably. He knew he made a mistake as the announcers even said so. Did it influence his decisions going forward to the end.... you decide. :D

If "postponed", I just can't see when and how the match(es) can be re-arranged. Packed schedule already, international window to release players.... There are suggestions of playing games behind "closed doors", but that opens a can of worms IMHO - will all ticket holders be reimbursed, where does payment for the use of the stadium come from.... etc, etc?

Another Six Nations Game in Major Doubt as France Impose Ban and Ireland's Tournament Could be Over for Now

"The French government has banned public gatherings of more than 5,000 people as the number of coronavirus cases in the country increased.
A temporary restriction for gatherings in confined spaces is now in place, and it is not yet known when it could be lifted.
It throws France's home Six Nations finale against Ireland on March 14 into doubt as the COVID-19 virus continues to spread.
“All public gatherings of more than 5,000 people in a confined space are temporarily banned across France,” Health Minister Olivier Veran is reported to have told journalists.
He also said the number of confirmed cases had risen to 73 and that there had been no new deaths."

The Six Nations championship has already seen one match officially postponed due to the virus - Ireland's home clash against Italy, which had been scheduled for next weekend, and it remains to be seen whether any further cancellations will be made."

Bristol put on a great performance, 160 + tackles! I believe they said the first win over Bath in 10 years?

Edit: I just read the reports, it's been 14 years since a win at Bath, not over Bath.

I have to note how enjoyable watching Rugby here has become since TRUE cancelled Setanta and now has Rugby Pass TV. Live top weekend matches and repeats shown throughout the week, as well as some very good documentaries, News updates, and Highlight shows galore. For TRUE to spend the money on this the Thai rugby community must be larger than we think, they're certainly not doing it for the foreign subscribers.

Edit: This quote from Wiki explains what has happened here:

...."From 29 January 2020, Setanta Sports Asia has been replaced by the new dedicated rugby channel, Rugby Pass TV which launched its OTT service first, since February 2016."....

Glad you're enjoying the "Rugby Pass TV" Pete - I'm certainly enjoying the rugby myself at the moment (if not some of the refereeing.. ) :D Sadly it seems the 6 Nations will leave "Free-to-Air TV" in 2022, likely moving to the subscription channel SKY Sports....... Good for SKY, NOT GOOD for rugby! :banghead:

Enjoyed the Bath vs Bristol match, just not the result! Bristol's defence was immense yesterday - Bath's going missing at times. Question over one of Bristol's tries, but they undoubtedly deserved the win. Bath still have some work to do - especially defense wide-out.

Also happy to see Bath giving Rhys Webb some game time in the interim (with his move from Toulon to Ospreys).

A tad worrying seeing Rhys Preistland limping off - who was likely to be called into the Welsh squad for the forthcoming match against the Lillywhites. Not looking good at Fly-Half - Dan Biggar out, Rhys Patchell out, Owen Williams out and Gareth Anscombe also out long term......

Crusaders 24 - Reds 20. Reds left 6 conversion points on the table. The Reds were superior throughout (except for horrendous kicking!) and should have won it hands down.

Not enough is mentioned I don't think about the games won and lost by the kicking game.

Happy days - Dan Biggar has recovered and is fit to play! Added to that, Liam Williams is also back from a 4 month lay-off.... :thumb:

Bit of a bizarre one with regards to Maka Vunipola - stood down for England over coronavirus fears (he travelled via Hong Kong from Tonga recently), and he was supposedly "self isolating"..... however he's been selected to play for Saracens on Saturday?! :?

"Prop Mako Vunipola is training with his club Saracens, despite being stood down by England over coronavirus fears.

The Rugby Football Union confirmed on Tuesday Vunipola was not available for Saturday's Six Nations game against Wales after he travelled through Hong Kong last weekend.

An RFU spokesperson said Vunipola was "not sick" but was not in camp "on medical grounds".

However, he is available for Sarries' Premiership match with Leicester."

Sounds like National team protocol is different from local team. Politics most likely.

I think it's simply a case of the national med team being over-cautious and Saracens being pragmatic and taking advantage. Vunipola never announced he was self-isolating and obviously has no symptoms, so doesn't meet the government criteria.
