MONSTERS(The Lyle and Erik Menedez Story) 2024 Netflix

I've just finished this 9 part drama based on the true story of 2 young men who murder their parents in LA

I thought it was very good and with some really good acting

Bit gruesome in parts though, tough subjects.

9/10

Although I still enjoyed it, I don’t think it was as good as the previous series.

If you like gruesome you might like Grotesquerie (Hulu).

I've never read any Gilly Cooper (and never will) but I watched the first episode of Rivals, and liked it. Some fine actors, acting and script very good, dialogue pin sharp and funny. A bit raunchy as you might expect. A bit disappointed to see the wooden Danny Dyer but we'll see how he goes.

IMDB is simply a Database of movies and shows - not a streaming service in itself. It highlights what's available and where it can be viewed - "Networks", cinemas etc.

Rather than pay for subscriptions to sites such as Netflix, Disney+, Paramount et al, most on here will download from Torrent sites. Plenty of information available on the Forum regarding this.

I agree with ph that torrenting is the current best way to download TV, films, etc.. Put the file on a hard drive connected to your watching device (probably TV or laptop). I connect my hard drive to a set-top box which is connected to my TV via HDMI because it has a better interface to my file collections than my TV, but it's not needed.

A set-top box and a paid subscription to an IPTV service will usually give you a huge selection of old and new films and TV series (although not 0 day releases -the day a scene release group put their pres up on FTP sites for couriers to grab), but its main function for me is live TV channels across the world and pay-per-view events.

Yep, torrents are the way to go using sites such as https://eztvx.to/home

Torrent discussion is here: viewtopic.php?t=16137
Thread on free movie/tv streaming sites here: viewtopic.php?t=40992

From that IMDB list, I'll be looking out for ...

Yellowstone season 5, part 2
Silo season 2
Dune: Prophecy
Landman
Star Wars: Skeleton Crew

Just stated watching "Nautilus" on Amazon - not exactly a classic, but good fun. As you'd guess, it's based on Jules Verne's "20,000 Leagues Under The Sea" and Captain Nemo.

Will give Nautlius a go, very little about at the moment.

Also started Lioness with the lovely Zoe Saldana as a badass Marine. Two episodes in and while a bit far-fetched, I'll continue with it. Its already airing season 2.
