So, just curious about the Brit tourists with omicron strain. Have they been included in any statistics? I haven't noticed any 'foreign' imported cases in the last 3 days. Maybe they were infected in Phuket, Bangkok, somewhere else in Thailand?

I've been saying the same. The propaganda is saying brought here by the Brits, but everything I'm reading makes it sound as likely they have picked it up in Thailand.

Although I agree, remember the saying “One swallow doesn’t make a summer”. If the downward trend continues well into the new year, that may be time to rejoice, but as we’ve seen over the past two years, Covid has a tendency to be anything but predictable.

I'm not sure exactly when their results will be part of the official figures for Hua Hin but four of the latest cases are getting a bit closer to home for me.

My niece, her boyfriend and two of my grand-nieces all tested positive yesterday. I haven't seen any of them for over a week but I was with the parents of my two grand-nieces on Christmas day. Both parents have tested negative so far, but have another test scheduled in two days time.

Fingers crossed.

I wonder if they are expecting 3 Wise Men on the 6th and the extension is to allow them to toast the birth of Christ?
