No Davy, those were my own thoughts - nobody else is using it as an excuse.

For me, yes, I liked Lampty, but always considered Stephens a much more all round player. Our midfield general IMHO was Sutin.

I don't think Kanchit will be a regular centre half. I believe that job will fall to Pu and No.5 (haven't grasped his name yet). Mind you, after not seeing Thonburi's No.27 and gifting him 3 goals Saturday, I've lost all confidence in our defence. I'm assuming Kanchit will start on Sunday to replace our banned defender.

As for one of the defence being sent off, they are supposed professionals and as such should control their temper. If they can't control their temper, they need to disguise their retaliation better.

If we are talking about the same Number 5, we are going to have big problems because the guy I saw wearing the number 5 in a recent warm-up game was only about 4 foot 6!! What I said earlier about Lamptey and Stephens seem to be echoed by you Big Boy, with Lamptey solid at the back and Stephens starting most of the attacks down the left hand side. I felt comfortable with both of them on the field but so far I have not seen anything resembling them yet within the current squad. No doubt when the new players arrive they will have to hit the ground running as we won`t have time to bring them along gently as a good pre-season would have done. All the nonsense should have been sorted and the players here at least a month ago. The Chinese New Year has absolutely nothing to do with it. If it was then ex-pats would not be able to get here when the muslims head to Mecca. Where there is a will, there is a way!!! As regards the building work on the new stadium - well I have to kick myself every time I hear the phrase ''This is Thailand'' - but I will be very surprised if it will be ready much before May 2016 at this rate, but if they are only building to their computer images all they are going to be doing is laying some grass and putting floodlights up it should be ready in a couple of weeks. On that point, why are we putting floodlights up when all our home games are a 4pm kick off or are they expecting dark clouds to be descending on HHCFC if things are not going too well? Only saying......

A quick point of clarification. The numbers on their training kits are not necessarily their squad numbers e.g. last Wednesday you saw Sato wearing No.33. His squad number is 3.

The real number 5 hasn't been stood in a pot of manure for a couple of weeks, he is naturally of the taller variety. Both he and Pu (number 12 doesn't have that name but a huge name on his back, which I haven't deciphered yet) looked solid at the back until the invisible man came onto the pitch........... then it all went wrong, and our defence didn't exist. As an aside, I'd have liked to have seen no.27 punch Lampty on the nose. The guy you saw wearing No. 5 is really No. 23, Panupong. Confused - you will be.

Regarding new recruits (which I've given up all hope of until the mid-season break), they are coming NEXT WEEK  I think that should become the club's new nickname. Or maybe a new club motto, "It's going to happen next week." I hope I'm made to eat those words, but I really doubt it.

I will try to pop down to the site of the new stadium every Monday until built, just to record progress (or lack of it). A lot of heavy duty piping has been delivered since last week, so I assume they are putting in drainage first, which would make sense. Laying the pitch will follow.

Don't forget, as advised previously, the club wrote back to me advising that kick off time will be later once we move to the new stadium. They were talking 5 or 6pm. Last season, even some of the 4pm kick offs ended in the twighlight zone.

Just watched the video put on Facebook this morning, the player sent off is adamant he never touched their player and that the ref got got it wrong.... Watching the replay, he might have a point.... Their 27 was certainly making the most of it.

Both mention the lack of farangs in the team not helping.... Piling the pressure on the club! Hopefully we've some good news on that front in the coming days!

It was a stupid challenge whether he connected with guy or not, but in his defence No.27 had just punched him in the face. However, if he was going to try to make a point, he should have been smarter about it.

No.27, as well as being invisible, was both a drama queen and a cheat. How many times did he feign injury, and collapse for no reason, only to jump up and run like the wind when the ball came near. Owusu received a year's ban for an off the ball incident no worse than what we saw on Saturday.

Yeah I agree, whether he connected or not, it was very silly and obviously trying to extract revenge. Just a shame the punch hadn't been spotted

There's also a video interview with Wongsawad, he's just talking about the disappointment of not playing at weekend. Doesn't actually say if he's definitely fit for this weekend or not but I hope so!

What a surprise - not!! Just one more thing that irritates the hell out of me about this football club. Please don`t advertise a game until you have definite confirmation!!

I really do think the club should just shut up and say nothing to anyone. It saves having to have their size 10`s surgically removed from their mouths!! Everything we are hearing over the last few months is being found to be just total rubbish and this creates confusion and criticism of the people who are trying to change everything in a short period of time. They should be concentrating on getting a winning team on the park and nothing else. I am more than happy going to Fort Thanarat to watch the home games for 2 reasons. The first is it is likely to be better all round package than what we are going to get at the new stadium and the second, we can sit in relative comfort out of the direct sunlight which we are not going to have at the new one. The management teams should then have more time to look again at their computer image plans of the new stadium, seriously this time, and they have to provide adequate covered seating for the supporters or it won`t take long before we are watching from a nearby beer garden!! I watched the weekend game on SiamSport from Ratchaburi. It looks similar to what our stadium looks like with 2 big high fences at either end but had absolutely no atmosphere and hardly anyone in attendance. We have a huge advantage over teams like that - we have a potentially massive support. Build it properly and we will fill it. End of story!!
