Arsenal were outstanding last season also and probably should have won the league.

Tottenham last season:

Since HK left, they haven’t found anyone to replace him (top diver) :duck:

Very well said DB, saved me a post!

Same would happen if Salah left

Of course, they've never been guilty of simulation have they?!

Actually I was being more provocative (than actually claiming he was an out and out diver), but most teams have at least one player that falls over a little too often!! Anyway, I thought you’d gone into winter hibernation!!

Still tickles me that this is Antony's 'trademark' move. Only thing he's known for (on the pitch). €100 million. 😆

This isn't new 'news', it's been on the go for ages. The new owners identified some irregular payments when completing due diliginece, linked to the last regime. It's the reason Bruce Buck and Abramovichs favourite Canadian left the the club so abruptly, unlike as initially planned, to stay for a phased takeover. I would not be surprised to learn this was the reason for Tuchel's abrupt departure as well. The only payment identified so far, comes from a different source, and is in respect of a payment of something like 650,000 euros made to Andreas Christensons father, for his joining Chelsea at youth level.

Chelsea interview.

Enzo: “I think Chelsea are to be one of the best PL teams. I don’t know when, not now... but we will do it, we will achieve it", told Sky Sports.

Caicedo: "I agree 100%. As Enzo said, for sure it will take time and those who don’t believe in us will end up doing so".

Ah, the recent 100+ million signings. I totally don't suspect that the fact they were both bought for 50+ million pounds more than they were worth... have anything to do with this recent statement.

Few weeks ago I posted that Chelsea will be top 4 by Xmas. My view changed after another stinker. Enzo is laughing on 300k+ a week. Good player, but stinks of United levels of desperation to bring players in.

Caicedo's transfer fee was utterly absurd (beyond absurd £115 million) but at least he's only costing £150k a week. A little below (40k) Tottenham's highest paid player, Son, who's been at the club for eight years.

Onana looks a different keeper since that last minute penalty save in Champion's League. Amazing what a little confidence boost can do.

^ :D

An unconvincing but massively important win for United. A 0-0 draw there would have given United another few days of pile-on. As it stands, into 6th eight points off top spot.

Huge win.

Although I’m quite a fan of Jack Grealish’s on-field play (not so much his off-field antics), he is struggling to get in the team because the new guy at City, Doku, is playing so well - he was star player yesterday in City’s 6-1 thrashing of Bournemouth.
