Ticket agency as I thought - the big money for Ireland vs England is that most feel this will be a deciding fixture for the Title/Grand Slam/Triple Crown. Though I suspect ticket prices will change towards the end of the tournament...

Also if you look at the top of the page in smaller print (funnily enough): -

"We are a secondary ticket agent. Tickets sold on this website are above the face value. Prices may change nearer the time of the event."

Exactly why I picked Chelsea as an example - though I guess there's a big difference in pricing even within the Premier League itself?

Not the game that the Dragons would like, but has to be good for those coming in - Roberts and the like. Looking forward to seeing how Moriarty fares and Hibbard coming off the bench.

Unfortunately I think the Bears will be far too strong, but hoping for a good match and to see how the Roberts/Tomkins partnership goes in the center - watch out also for Sam Davies.

Unfortunately, no sign of Ioan Lloyd on the Bears side (or squad).....? :?

Replacements: Will Capon, Yann Thomas, John Afoa, Joe Joyce, Dan Thomas, Harry Randall, Max Malins, Alapati Leiua.

Georgia in crisis after shooting at Tbilisi HQ

"Georgia's Rugby Union vice president Merab Beselia has been arrested by police over the shooting of player Ramaz Kharazishvili at their Tbilisi offices, according to reports.

Former Georgia sevens captain Kharazishvili, 32, was rushed to hospital and underwent surgery after being shot in the shin during an alarming incident at the union's HQ.

Doctors have confirmed the injuries are not life-threatening.

It has been reported that Kharazishvili, who is also the president of rugby club Jankers, has been an outspoken critic of the Georgian Rugby Union and local media claim the shooting took place after a heated dispute.

The country's police have launched an investigation into an illegal purchase, possession and carrying of a firearm and damage to health.

"Kharazishvili received injuries to his leg. His life is not in danger. All employees of the Rugby Union are cooperating with the police", Tornike Gogebashvili, acting president of the Union told 1TV.ge.

Beselia nor any representative of the GRU has commented on the incident except to confirm that it took place.

The huge controversy comes just weeks before Georgia are set to take on Wales in the Autumn Nations Cup."

Georgia have been placed in Group A alongside England, Ireland and, of course, Wales.

They begin their Autumn Nations Cup campaign against Eddie Jones' England on Saturday, November 14.

You had me going there for 10 minutes. I was starting to believe in fairies Welsh rugby. Dragons started all guns firing. Of course, rugby is about 80 minutes, not 10. Dragons easily won the first 1/8th, but the Bears cruised the final 7/8ths, barely breaking a sweat. A game won by stamina.

The MIGHTY Bears march on.

The Dragons as expected were well beaten, that said - a little unfair giving them just 10 minutes () surprisingly ending the first quarter 10-0 up. The 7 minute 3 try blitz by the Bears shortly afterwards certainly knocked the stuffing out of them though  . They actually did quite well to put a stop to the blitz for the remainder of the half, and trying to take the fight to Bristol when they could. The floodgates however were always going to open.

That said, there were certainly some promising signs/areas in the Dragons play and it should be remembered that they have only recently started a rebuilding of the squad/region and obviously there is some way to go. Bristol on the other hand have been building for several seasons - and have done a bl**dy good job of it. Many stars throughout the team, but Jesus, what a "Back 3".

Heineken Champions League (Quarter Final) - Leinster vs Saracens about to kick off (3pm UK) and has all the makings of a cracking match - a repeat of last seasons Pro 14 Final which was a hell of a game.

Both have put out very strong teams and will be going hell for leather. Saracens will be playing 2nd Division Rugby next season and will not be in Europe for a minimum of two seasons - a last chance for a few players.

Leicester Tigers v Castres Olympique – Match Cancelled

"EPCR has decided to cancel the Challenge Cup quarter-final match between Leicester Tigers and Castres Olympique which was scheduled to be played tomorrow (Sunday, 20 September) at Welford Road. The decision followed a meeting of a Medical Committee comprising medical leads from the unions, league bodies and both clubs, and subsequent independent medical advice.

The Committee, chaired by Rod McKenzie (Scotland), met by video conference last night (Friday, 19 September) following confirmation by Castres that three members of their playing group, as well as one staff member, had tested positive for COVID-19 in advance of the club’s planned departure to England.

It was decided on medical advice that the quarter-final could not go ahead safely in the circumstances and as a consequence, Castres have to forfeit the match and Leicester will qualify for the Challenge Cup semi-finals."

Pharvey or anyone, is it within the rules at line-out to throw a dummy, then reload and throw it?

I've also just discovered one of the most enjoyable spectator events in rugby, and that's when a front row'er scores a try that has a significant run attached to it. :D

Try to see some of this Mitre 10 Cup competition going on in NZ. It's their Premier League teams facing off and all the teams have some All Blacks, and those who will be All Blacks eventually, so the level of play is very high.

Good question! I believe the law/ruling is the same as a player or players jumping early in the line-out (i.e. before the ball has left the hands of the player throwing in), which is illegal and results in a free kick. [EDIT] Or at least should under the strictest rules of the game.....

In the '70's "Golden Years" for Wales, the Welsh Front Row was that of the Pontypool Front Row the "Viet Gwent" - a formidable outfit in their day. Graham Price, "Prop come Winger" scored a somewhat surprising try against France in 1975 - as the commentator said, "They'll never believe it in Pontypool"!!

Certainly sounds worth a watch - also some huge matches coming up over the next couple of days with the European Champions Rugby - starting with the Bristol Bears vs Bordeaux Beagles tonight (UK). :thumb:

I've relinquished control of RugbyPass to my son this week, who is away for a few days on one of these Thai cheapy holidays. I've said he can watch it live on my tablet, and I will watch it when I wake up (before I know the score).

Don't mention Thai holidays, the LHG and I would have been coming towards the end of our second week today... :banghead: As for the rugby, I won't post the score then.... :D
