Just been watching last night's football highlights, and my TV laptop is riddled with Buffstreams crap. The basic stuff won't clear it, so I shan't use Buffstreams again as for me, it is more trouble than it's worth. At least real rugby (Bristol) returns this weekend, so I'll get trouble free viewing via Rugby Pass, and the cherry on top, it's an 8pm K.O.

Of course, until I get rid of the Buffstreams crap, I might have to use a different device.
Sorry to hear about the issues with Buffstreams BB - I've never had any problems myself using it - what "crap" are you getting? Have you tried running a malware program? Did you ever try Amazon Prime (with VPN)?

Certainly masses of rugby on this weekend - there's going to be some recording and staggered viewing, that's for sure! :thumb:

Team selections for the Premiership and PRO14 will be interesting considering the current internationals on the go.

Fiji's Autumn Nations Cup match against Italy on Saturday has been cancelled after coronavirus tests found 29 positive cases in the Fijian camp.
Scotland's game against Fiji on November 28th also cancelled...

At this point Fiji players should just go home and try again next time. :(

Well, tonight saw a return to the Gallagher Premiership with Harlequins hosting Exeter and Sale hosting Northampton. Didn't get to see the latter which ended in a 32 vs 23 win for Sale, but caught an enjoyable contest match from the Twickenham Stoop with Exeter runaway winners with a 3 vs 33 victory. They've certainly started where they left off, and the frightening thing is that they were neither at full strength or their best (although close to it)......

Sam Simmonds ran in three of Exeter's five tries in a display reminiscent of former Number 8, Thomas "The Tank" Waldron who he replaced after Waldron's retirement.

Will certainly be the team to beat once again this season in both domestic and european competitions (dependant on what Covid brings..... ).

Here's to a day of rugby tomorrow :thumb:

And isn't he quick! Runs like a centre.

It may be just my imagination, but is there a size difference between the average (and I use the word in its broadest sense) club back rower and those at international level?

What a busy day! Breakfast - Argies v. Aussies, Early lunch - Bath v. Newcastle, Tea - England v. Ireland, Dinner - (with apologies to pharvey) Spurs v. Man City. I'll be exhausted by suppertime...

Incidentally, when I open the sports options on buffstreams, Avast pops up and noisily notifies me that some potential disaster has been averted, but no problems have ever materialised and I do regular scans.

Not only did Exeter show their forward strength they also played expansive rugby at times. dtaai-maai`s post about size it used to be that centres and wingers were wily, elusive players, now they seem to be giant battering rams.

A little buffstreams quiz:

Who has the most test caps in rugby history? Must be AWJ!
What is the only country from the Northern hemisphere to win a Rugby World Cup? Heeeeeyy!
Who has scored the most points in Super Rugby history? One for petec
As usual, New Zealand has won the most World Rugby Sevens Series, which country is second? Tricky, maybe someone like Fiji?
Who was the president of South Africa when South Africa hosted and won the rugby world cup in 1995? Easy, that man Nelson - iconic images!

Exeter's Cordero probably qualifies as wily and elusive, but in the main you're absolutely right. Eddie Jones said something about fielding 9 forwards recently - he wasn't kidding (for once)!

It's so frustrating watching the Pumas - they play quite well, but it's always the same problem, NO DISCIPLINE!

Can certainly be the case, but Australia's penalty count today wasn't great!

Thoroughly enjoyed the match - who would have thought the table would have looked like that at this stage?!!

Yes, it was an entertaining game, and the Argies did well to come back. No tries, not a classic, lots of errors, but breathless stuff.

I can't help thinking how much all the home countries would benefit from more games against the southern hemisphere sides. Still too far to be feasible for anything other than a tour I suppose...

I have a horrible feeling that Rugbypass have dropped the Gallagher Premiership  So my new relationship with rugby might be over. It is looking like Southern Hemisphere or nothing, so it'll be nothing.

I've written to them to make sure it's not just an error, but when I click on anything Northern Hemisphere, I'm logged out, and the 'play' arrow turns grey. A shame because it worked so well last season.

^ Bit strange - from the Rugbypass website it seems they are covering the Premiership - maybe just worth trying today's live game between Bath and Newcastle?

The England vs Ireland match is being televised on Ch4, so you'd be able to get that through Expat TV (?)...
