We bought one of their fully automatic machines for about Baht35k, it did everything except drink the stuff for you.

Plus they sell a good range of fresh coffee beans as well.
...and wine for later in the day. :D
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

Never saw wine in Bon Cafe back then, have they started to sell that now in Naebkehardt branch?

I used to take the short stroll (200 metres) there in the mornings for breakfast and to get away from the wife and 2 maids jabbering away in my ears.

English breaky, good coffee, the BK Post and watch the World go by.

What more can a man want.

That coffee machine is still going strong after 8 years.

As an observation, which is not trying to detract away from the crappy quality of many things, is the quality of water here. It's full of limescale etc, those that live in cities get off mildly compared to the "outback". This water quality problem coupled with shite quality products is a nightmare.

It doesn't take long for a shower hose to become clogged-up in a lot of places before you have to buy another or dowse it in a cleaner with a high hydrochloric acid content.

Regarding this, I must say that it varies massively from province to province about water quality but there is no standard that it has to measure up to, perhaps "officially", but that means zip in the real world.

Be afraid out of town or in the villages!

S: We have the same problem here in Nakhon Pathom, never had it down in Petchaburi. What I do is soak the shower head in vinegar for a few hours - it does a superb job in cleaning out those little clogged holes that squirt water right into your eye, or soak the loo roll.

That closed some two years ago and is now an Italian restaurant and guest house. Bon Cafe moved to Soi 84 if I remember correctly.

Bon Cafe is on Soi 94 I think. You go out Soi 94 until you get to an almost uninhabited area near what looks like a dump and turn left to get there. I go there for coffee sometimes and the last few times, they were also selling imported wines.

Huahinian and hhfarang :)

Thanks for that, it's a pity they moved, it was a good spot.
I'll have to look them up when I get back in Jan.

Is the Italian any good?
