Me too, this is very much a sign that Thailand's reading the 'winds of change' and is blowing with the wind away from the US.
I'm actually glad he's not being extradited, the US has had 70+ years of excessive foreign influence in the world, now things are turning to a different tune...

One of the important things about posting is keeping up on the news Rider.

He appeared very briefly in court the other day in the US, but not much was made of it in the western news, as Nereus pointed out.

Maybe it was just to set the start of it all, date wise. Ruskies are fuming though.

Yes, it's good to see that you can't buy your way out of justice all the time in Thailand.

No chance of success here either, IMO, thank goodness

They should give him a couple of extra years for sporting the dodgy tash so shamelessly.

It is interesting that Russia has consistently objected to this ''gun runner's'' arrest, and to the ceasefire in Syria, yet is was reported yesterday that Russia had recently supplied one billion US dollars of arms and ammunition to Syria - the paymaster being Iran.

The sale of arms and weapons continues to be a 'dirty business' whether instigated by gun runners or countries.
