One good thing about being captain is that I can expel anyone if they start doing too well. (evil laugh) :P I hope Pharvey doesn't get the same idea about rugby! Pete

Been away for a few days in hot and hectic Bangkok, so a bit late off the mark.

I'm working my way in (even put in a new pic!) - have no idea how these things work, but I guess I'll pick it up as I go. Mr.VS (who knows a heck of a lot more about F1 than I do) will hopefully join as well.

Ms Spark woke me this morning with the suggestion that I should join this happy band, and when Ms Spark makes a suggestion...

I see that she's changed her pic too. Do you think that it would be OK for me to use her old one, or would that confuse people?

Thanks Pete.

I have just checked Ms. Spark's choices for this weekend. I see that she's gone for Reubens to win and Kobyashi for fasted lap.

She's never been quite the same since that moment with the tequila...

P.

P.S. Please don't mention that I said that. It might be uinfortunate. Thanks - P.

They've changed the system in that you can pick 10 drivers for points. If you made your picks before March 10 and chose only 8 for points, you should have received an email from Superguru to go back in and add two more drivers to your selection. Pete

Congratulations to JJBones at the end of the first race with 15 points. Most of the rest of us are jammed together at the moment between 10 and 13 points. The way this pool is structured concerning scoring, I can see that by the end the winner may only have a margin of a few points which is good as it will stay interesting. Looks like I'll have to put up with Alonzo this season. Great driver, but a mouth and personality that I can do without. :cuss:

Next up is Australia on March 28. Good luck. Pete

Also congratulations to JJBones.

But if Vettel wouldn't have had bad luck with his car, he could have won the race and Hamilton would have been 4th. Then I would be at the top of the list and not at the end. So close it can be.

Next race I will also vote before qualifying to get the 2 points, but for the 1st race I thought it would be better to wait for the qualifying results.

Thanks for the congrats, but pure luck on my part.

I made the picks the day I signed up (impatient, that's me :D ) and those additional two points have made the difference.

It's a problem though; with no in-race refueling grid positions are critical (and the first corner I guess) thereafter, I think in many races, the opportunities to overtake will be few and far between.... So. Do I wait until after qualifying to make my Aussie GP picks?
