Victoria?
Re: Victoria?
Been visiting Victoria about once a week since he moved. Appears to be slowly regaining customers. Today, at 09:30, 4 tables occupied with 10 customers.
Re: Victoria?
Anyone know what time they open for breakfast?.....I was pretty pissed off yesterday when I went to El Murphs at 8.15am for B/f only to be told "kitchen not open yet"...............

Re: Victoria?
Victoria (even though I don't usually have breakfast out), has always been one of the best in town for that meal imo... and I wouldn't expect a late night place like El Murphy's to be ready to serve breakfast early. There are breakfast places, and there are late night venues, rarely are they the same places.
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

I understand that HHF...So why the feck do they advertise B/F served from 7am

I imagine because it's also a hotel and hotel guests need to eat breakfast - I suppose that might be the deciding factor.
Re: Victoria?
Barry
Apologies
I do have a reputation of boosting or blasting eating places and at some point I did lambaste your new place up soi 80 cos it was not open when it should have been but you were in the process of setting up and after a couple of sherbets I vented on the website
I have always believed that for new visitors to HH it's good to know where to go and where not to go
Anyway Barry, this week I've had 3 breakfasts and one mammoth plate of liver, bacon and onions and enjoyed all immensely. Count on me being a regular unless you wish to ban critical old Yorkshiremen.
Good news is you also deliver down the soi so if I'm watching the big matches in sports lounge I can get the girls to trot up the road to bring me back a face-full of your good grub
Funny thing was during our chat we referred to people who critic eating places and you said 'well the only guy who had a go at me was Richard of Loxley After much banter I left and Barry said 'seen you around quite a bit and seen you at my old place on Petcha but I've forgotten your name' I smiled and said well I'm Richard of Loxley. We were in stitches for 30 seconds

In case anyone else gets confused (like me
), Richard is not replying to the previous poster, barrys, but apologising to the other Barry who runs Victoria.
I think.
