"Goulashchauppe?!" I'm not sure of the spelling, though I think it's "suppe," but, again, I know my food, "Goulash Suppe" is not German, it's Hungarian. It actually is the most well known Hungarian dish.

We went there on Monday to give it a try.
Ended up spending ages there talking to Jürgen and his wife, a really nice couple.

We really enjoyed the food and the place is just lovely - very cosy and spotlessly clean.

They had only been open for 5 days and are starting slowly to see how things progress.

It is authentic German food and they intend to expand the menu slowly to also include some fish dishes.

I must admit that if I couldn't speak German and had to rely on the English 'translation' I wouldn't have had a clue.

I mentioned this to him and he was grateful for the feedback.

The result is an understandable menu available from this evening.
We're going there again today cos the gf wants a goulasch.

If you like German food with a nice ambiance, do give it a try.

Here's their reprinted menu by the way

Kassler is no 5 on the List. Between Paniertes Schnitzel, Bratkartoffeln, Salatbeilage and
Rühreier mit Speck, Zwiebeln, Spinat und Kartoffelpûree.

Revisited there last night. Same high quality food with reasonable prices. Pity that it is a little bit out of the way.

Sorry bapak am I missing something here?
Barry's quote was written about 18 months ago - have you got something to say about the place that is current?

Revisited last night (4th visit). Same quality meals for a reasonable price. It is a pity that its location is out of the way.
