Thanks Lomu,

I always check with the experts because I don't like surprises... and you must be still jet lagged from your trip... :D
Just one bit of terminology - you're extending off a visa whether that be OA or O that you got maybe years ago. You don't get a visa at Imm here in HH - unless in exceptional circumstances such as upgrading.
That's why my original post said this:
I'm going for my annual extension this week; non-imm O-A (for reason of retirement).
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?

The popadums are brilliant and I havn't scoffed all the varieties yet.
The chillies look hot but are tame after cooking.
And I've got no flipping pickles!!!

This is what I needed in the past:

For the Retirement renewal using monthly pension income:

1) TM7 form filled out
2) 1 copy of my passport - photo page, every stamped page, and the attached immigration departure card.
3) 1 4x6 photo
4) Certificate letter from the U.S. Embassy stating the amount of my monthly pension.
5) A copy of my Yellow Book (house registration)
6) A hand drawn map of where my house is located
7) 1,900 Baht fee

Anything new required this year?

(I read the rumors about additional proof of income along with the embassy letter for U.S. citizens so I am taking my monthly pension paycheck receipts to back up the letter).

Thanks
I have a friend (ha, ha) who says all you need is passport and 5000 in your pocket

I got to Immigration at 10:30 this morning with my paperwork in hand both for my 90 day report (due tomorrow) and my annual visa extension (due September 15th). Everything was exactly the same as last year (as in my post above) and no, I didn't need any additional proof of income beyond the Embassy letter. I had to wait 5 minutes, processing took about 25 minutes so in and out in a half hour! :thumb:

Thanks to all. It worked perfect getting the OA in Germany even though an american. I was sort of a stange bird to the embassy gang so they were very helpfull. Easy for me with the income proof being able to show military retirement income with a sort of web based official document to satisfy the 69K baht annual requirement. In germany but they wanted everything in english or Thai not german. Took 7 days to get the visa, since I had all the paperwork pretty much in line. Had to do it twice because I had my passport stolen but the process was the same each time. Had to pay twice but insuance took care of the bill. Since I did it twice in 30 days I suppose I am considered a resident expert.

69K baht annual requirement? Is this a typo, or something I'm not aware of please?

Please tell me you didn't have to submit the same documentation all over again. Weren't the 15 copies of everything they demanded from the first application evidence enough??
This is the way

Good to hear you got the OA.
The income requirement is 65K, BB.

 Ahhh 65K baht per month. So armycw4ret was talking about the monthly requirement as opposed to the annual requirement.

Thanks for the clarification.
