Just a thought but it may be a good idea to put this on any other expat forums and garner more votes

any Aus and kiwi guys could maybe find some ex pat sites and get that going down under

Steve G and Baa Baa stick it on any sites/forums in blighty that may help

Greece and Spain may be good venues as well cos if they get thrown out of the EU their rises will cease

dont bother with Croatia, Boznia herzogovena or serbia they get the rises so probably wont give a toss :cuss: :cuss:

No the delay is caused because after submitting your vote you then have to respond to an e mail you rceive about it. Only then is the vote added to the count.

No the delay was far greater than that when I voted. However, the site was obviously having problems at that time - hence my earlier failed attempts.

Hi all,
Likewise I have signed the e-petition. It is also on my facebook page and I will be forwarding the link to all my email contacts.

Come on folks lots of effort please in getting it out there!

Lets get it under the noses of the UK powers that be :banghead:

I zapped mister clean's post because he didn't say or do anything. It was a straight quote from an earlier post.

The same with me Mags. At the time I submitted my vote there were eight signatures. After I had done the email thing, I went back to the petition to check if it had been added. It was still on eight. I assumed it had been added straight after my initial details were put in but then BB said it was still on eight after his vote.

Agreed - and I hope it does reach the target. Have to say though I've seen other e petitions take off much quicker. I wonder how many expats won't sign because they continue to get the pension increases anyway?
