As was mentioned on another post a few weeks back, it could be that your ac needs servicing?
As an aside, our electric bills are fairly constant in fact this months bill was just 4 baht different than last month.

This is due to the fact that imported LNG is of lower quality than locally produced gas, resulting in a lower energy efficiency ratio. Therefore, each unit of electricity produced using imported LNG is only 0.6% as efficient as that previously produced using local gas.

I know this because I have a degree in Theatre.
You've clearly got your percentages wrong d-m, I'm not sure what the difference is between LNG and local gas but if there are fewer Btu's in LNG they will have to burn more gas to produce a unit of electricity and hence why the price has gone up.
You can charge what you like for energy as long as you're getting it domestically as the money stays within the economy as a whole but once you start buying it from somewhere else, you pretty much have to sell it at cost or you'll bankrupt the country.

That`s because there is no B... S... in the imported gas.

I don't know if it is the same for everybody, but both our electricity and water bill is very late this month (about 2 weeks). Therefore, I'm expecting a 50% increase in charges on both.

Mine arrived on time on Friday. Expensive!, but then it always is.

Are you sure they're just late BB, like everybody else in your area as well, otherwise it could be that the bill got blown away and you might wake up in the morning having had your supply disconnected?
I have been wondering about that - we always get ours later than our neighbours anyway, so can't tell. They wouldn't have both blown away - would they?

Well, our bills have arrived. Water was the usual (between 60 and 100Baht). Electricity was more, but not what everybody has been saying - just 100Baht more than last month.

It's easy enough to work out how much you're being charged per unit from month to month, isn't is?
Unless my memory is failing me, when we lived in a house I'm pretty sure the bill told you the amount of units you had used, and the total cost? So it's a simple division calculation to work out the cost per unit.

It is easy to average the cost per unit but the actual cost is determined by the amount you have used in that month( higher use more per kwh) along with the Fuel Tariff ( FT) which can vary up or down.
