Being Dutch I can't see why Heineken has such a high reputation. For me there's nothing special about that beer.
However, I did like the Thai beer, I think it was Singha, but I'm not sure. Perhaps I was enjoying the Thai Heineken :?

Former times I did like Kloster & Singha, but Singha has given me heartburn mostly.
Then I have tested Chang-beer...no heartburn, no headache or worst hangovers anymore...
Now it's my No.1 beer in TH definitely!

That is exactly the problem I have with Singha.

Heineken for taste, Chang for taste & price! Singha just doesn't taste right to me. Kloster's OK too. :)

Chang, Tiger, Singha, Heineken in that order. Although, I hear Beer Lao is now available in Thailand.

The Beer Lao in cans is crapolla. The best is the large bottle but I've never seen them in Thailand, only in Laos. Pete

Beer Singa for the the un-initiated

I heard some rumors that Carlsberg could be back again soon.
Seems they build a brewery in Laos, and that the import to TH will be permitted again.
Can anybody confirm this or hear similar things?

I know they've been trying hard to make a come back but I've heard nothing of a sure thing. I hope it's true.

Richard, the draft Heineken is good, smooth and hangover proof, not even close to the bottled crap. Krakas Dad is going to smack me again. LOL.

Someone on her has been talking about Stella. What bars have it in HH, and is it draft or bottles? Pete

At 10pm, my missus reckons Tiger.
She can't handle the hard stuff
As far as Carlsberg is concerned, I think we all know that there was a disagreement between brewers, particularlarly between Boon Rarwd (Singha - sic) and the rest.
Who's the richest man in Thailand?
I'll give you a headstart - it's not the ex-PM and it's not the owner of Boon Rarwd.
Unless I've got it wrong, it's another drinks magnate.
