In my estimation that makes the current World Chumps next to bottom of the group with 1 point more than the Faroe Islands after two games. What a shame.

Despite being quite appalled at England's last performance, I see that those who know have increased England's World Ranking http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/footbal ... 341578.stm.

The problem will obviously be maintaining the deserved progress, having been drawn into such a hard European Championship group.
