Plymouth should do very well next year then.
I believe they are also signing Ronaldinho,Kaka,Gerrard and Rooney.
This is certainly only speculation at the moment - I've heard nothing about it. However, Stapleton does have the finances.

Plymouth may not be raw enough for Rooney, and could he be guaranteed a game? We've all seen him throw his toys out of the pram when he's left out of the team, or substituted. I would actually prefer not to see him at Plymouth unless he's playing for Manchester United.

Well if any of the players i mentioned do want to be involved in the Plymouth revolution there all going to have to fight for their place like at any big club.
I'll be gutted to see Gerrard leave my club Liverpool but would respect and understand his decision.

Watched today's match Villa against the Hampsters. It was very evident when Tevez came on that the TV editor was aware of the news I shared with you on 7 Sept 06. On 4 seperate occassions, after Tevez's introduction the camera zoomed in on Paul Stapleton and Ian Holloway who were there to watch their new man. On each occassion it was immediately after Tevez had touched the ball - I couldn't tell from their facial expressions whether they were impressed with their boy or not.

I am of course assuming that you guys in Thailand get the same pictures as us here in the UK - I can't see how you would have seen something different.

Is it me or does Carlos Tevez bare an uncanny resemblance to early neanderthal man? maybe he was carved out of an ice coffin on the north pole by Alan Pardew?....still, I expect his mum loves 'im!

I have just read on the net that Paul Stapleton is less than pleased with the performance of West Ham United yesterday. Not only did he want to showcase his boys in the Premiership, he also wanted them to prove what they could do in Europe, albeit, of course, in the loser's cup.

Yesterday's poor performance has dampened Stapleton's optimism for success in 3 years time.

Im sure he will be more than enthusiastic when he takes into account the calibre of players that will be joining his argie duo at PAFC though.
They are bound to shine playing alongside Gerrard,Kaka,Ronaldinho and Co.

I can't find anything on Stapleton's web to substantiate this - although probably true, what is the source of your information?

It still doesn't compensate for placing his golden boys with a bunch of losers.

No solid info unfortunately Big Boy.
But as we know transfer rumours stem from somewhere.
Stands to reason though that ambitious world class players are going to head to the most ambitious clubs.
When Gerrard nearly left my club Liverpool for Chelsea did he feel the rumble coming from PAFC and did a u turn?
Ronaldinho has recently had a "fallout" with his coach at Barca, hhmmmm!
I think my early retirements in the bag.
Only time will tell.

More news from the least likely source of a scoop, the Fiat owned Torino based La Stampa has reported that John Stapleton from the English Football Championship Team Plymouth Argyle Club has been in Torino this week to interview the remaining players from Juventus that did not make a move. La Stampa quoted that most of them could not affford to move to another club in Italy because of the poor wages outside of the big 6 top clubs. In England they could earn similar wages without the inconvenience of having far to travel to train every day. It is now expected that Juve may not get promotiion after their poor performance at the weekend. Camoranseri and Trezeguet have both stated that they will never be able to adapt to the poor standard of the stadia that will have to play at this season. Both will consider moves to the English Premiership or leading Championship sides. David Trezequet was quoted as saying "At least if we play at Plymouth we won't have to spend half the time avoiding stepping in Goat Shit". He then was heard to ask John Stapleton in an off the record chat "What is the local pussy like in Devon". The reporter could not hear John's reply exactly but two pints of scrumpy were mentioned.

I understand Trezeguet is holding out for a new Vauxhall as a signing bonus, his Fiat Panda now being clapped out.
Any word on the Zidane negotiations?

Cynical view again there JK. Ferrari are Fiats adn he drives an F50 and has two otheres used as runabouts. They will be with him. It sounds you know some of the Juve Fiat/Ferrari connections. That it supposed to be hus hush.

BTW Vauxhalls are Amercian. Anyone coming to Britain and being given a Britisih car would not have much choice unless you want a rocket sled like a TVR, McLaren, Westfield or Morgan. Even Aston Martin, Jaguar and Rolls Royce are now in foreign hands.

Yes, I know Vauxhall are in the capable hands of GM :? with Aston, Jag and Land Rover being looked after by Ford though Aston is on the block  and perhaps Jag as well, it being a sinkhole these days.

Dodge is a Chrysler now owned by Mercedes Benz.

Back on the footie this is the latest news fromthe UK regarding our Argie Imports.

New-boy Tevez threw a "tantrum" over the size of the luxury flat he has temporarily been given by West Ham. The Canary Wharf penthouse was not big enough for the Argentine and his extended family of nine so he has been upgraded to a bigger pad. West Ham willl consider he gets bigger appartment after he has had his vasectomy operation.(Mail)
