Well Dawn, this just goes to show how out of touch I am with l;ocal events and happenings as I have only just found out about this. To say I'm shocked would be an understatement. Thinking you have failed in any way is complete garbage because I doubt there is anyone else here in Hua-Hin who would have battled the odds as you have done. While we lived next door to you for a while, we never really got to know you which is of course a pity - I think I spent too much time two houses down at Kevin Halls' home....lol

Anyway Dawn, both my wife and I wish you all the very best for your future and as others have said, hold you head up high.

Hey Dawn you did a brilliant and very worthwhile job. I'm so sorry some of the locals didn't seem to see it that way. I hated the carnage of pups on the roads etc and your help with getting Chan neutered was greatly appreciated.
Take care and be proud, Mags x

Thanks to Takiap & Mags for bumping this. I'll make a longer statement in the next few days, once I have our website sorted but this is how things stand here a few months on.

There was a possibility of being taken over, but that hasn't happened, so the dogs are still in the same place & safe & I'm still looking after them.

HHDRC is finished. Our new name will be HeadRock Dogs We will continue looking after the dogs we have but will be focusing much more on getting them rehomed. We will not be involved in rescue and will not take any new dogs Our external efforts will be focused much more on CNR (neuter & release) to try to reduce the stray population a bit. I will continue as manager. We have been helped & will be helped in the future by SCAD (soi dog rescue), DogChance and Canadian Voice For Animals to help achieve some of those ends.

Our first priority is to move well away from our present location, so if anyone knows of cheap land ( fairly remote) please let me know.
