Only until 11 Feb, after the tourist area was noted in the timeline of a positive case.
That's still pretty drastic though. Hua Hin also appeared on a timeline several times yesterday, but we've gone Yellow today. The timeline featuring Hua Hin was obstructively vague regarding hotels stayed at and where the person went as well. We are suffering knee jerk reactions, not consistent management.

To me, if they need to close down an open air, low populated area like Kaen Krachan because one person visited, Hua Hin should be dealt with similarly.

Delegating decision making to the provinces is ludicrous in my opinion, and causes bad feeling through inconsistency. Bangkok had been averaging 19 cases a day until today, but many restrictions were lifted a week ago. Meanwhile in Prachuap Khiri Khan with one case in 9 months we are afraid to fart in public.

I'm told the Minister of Education ends by saying, “Educational institutions shall keep up to date & strictly comply with the announcements from the CCSA & the PCDC in their respective areas.”

You're quite right BB. If I'd read it properly myself, I wouldn't have asked the question.
So if the CSA states which schools can open or not, then they override the Ministry. Regarding my granddaughter, I'll wait for the announcement on Friday. I'd rather she stayed here than going back to an area where they're finding hundreds of cases.

So why bother with yellow and green zones when it states for the green zones 'Conditions are as same as yellow zone'?

If I understood that correctly, no matter what is agreed tomorrow, it appears that the buck is being passed to the governors. So maybe the governors can decide the level of relaxation.

Yes, that is what he said, but he does ask us to be patient until 1st Feb. Governor of Prachuap Khiri Khan might still consider 1 case in 9 months too dangerous to lift anything yet.

To the boozers credit, there were all wearing masks. Did they have straws poking through holes in the masks? How does one drink while wearing a mask?

Anyway they had nice time far away from lockdown in their countries. I agree with them.
