Absolutely agree BB, it's is a perfect fit for someone to prove themselves as a football manager, limited budget, not top league and not as much pressure as a top flight club. I was a definite doubter back when he was assigned, now excited in what he could achieve for PAFC.

I think 99% of us were doubting the move

Championship Plymouth Argyle 1 - 2 Leeds Utd

Maybe all he needed was the extra support now being provided which will help him flourish!!

I was rooting for Rooney's downfall. Because it's funny how disastrous some ex-players' ventures into management are. Particularly the ones i dislike. Neville was a good one, the bellend. Would love to see Lineker get ripped to shreds in the management game. Oh how wonderful that would be, won't happen unfortunately.
But... must say I'm happy for BB getting some good results in recently. Lad deserves it supporting Plymouth Argyle through thick and thin.

Talking of Lineker, there’s a load of noise about whether he will get his BBC contract extended after it expires. I respect his football ability but I’ve never been a fan of him in his MOTD position and I’m not sure I know anyone who rates him. At more than a £m a year I’ll be happy to see him gone and my preference to replace him will be Mark Chapman whose the main presenter for MOTD2

He only managed 45 minutes and had the lowest Spurs rating - seems to sum up his performance!!dtaai-maai wrote: ↑Fri Oct 25, 2024 2:32 am Spurs - AZ

Re: Football (not Premier League)
Werner's last few games have been really ugly. His confidence is absolutely shot and it's not coming back. Our generational talent Mikey Moore needs to be getting minutes ahead of Werner. I don't want to see him getting any more minutes at all this season if I'm honest.

Re: Football (not Premier League)
This is our 17 year old future superstar by the way once he got shifted over into his favoured left-wing position (after Werner got dumped at half time).
Mikey Moore should never be losing minutes to Werner ever again. The fans have seen enough from both this season to know this. Miles ahead.

Would have taken a 2-1 halftime scoreline all day long before the game, but bitterly disappointing to concede 20 seconds before the whistle.
Not confident.
Come on Spurs, surprise us all!
