I know you don't rate the guy DM, but Spencer had a very good game IMO.
Yep, I'd have said exactly the same if I'd given you the benefit of my wisdom! Good game to watch, though I was expecting Bath to have an easier time of it. Lots of errors on both sides, and even a few refereeing controversies to keep you happy, Pietro.
Didn't get to see the Exeter game - I had recorded it, but I also came across the score before getting a chance to watch, so let's just say it's lost it's interest!!

Oh, the air was blue at times, which the neighbours took great delight in advising the LHG of and listening to the subsequent b*ll*cking I received.....

Oh, but it's still worth watching, trust me!
I shall therefore trust your judgment and give it a watch!!

Obviously something he's said to the official, but I can't seem to find anything....
Also appears that there is an inquiry into the whole "Prop Saga..." which ultimately instigated the post match proceedings.....
"Youngs is charged with conduct prejudicial to the interests of the union and the game, contrary to RFU rule 5.12. "
This is very vague, as the rule basically says any player or club etc., can be disciplined for breaking the rules!!
That said, Leicester have dropped him from the squad for the final match.....
Leicester Skipper Tom Youngs Cited For Post-game Incident versus Bristol
"Claims that the players had been exonerated for the unruly bust-up that marred the end of last weekend’s Leicester versus Bristol Gallagher Premiership match at Welford Road have proven to be untrue as Tigers skipper Tom Youngs has been cited six days after the game.
It was Tuesday when the Press Association reported that players involved in the incident that marred the end of the match had avoided disciplinary action. Leicester prop Ellis Genge and Bears No8 Nathan Hughes were involved in one flashpoint as tempers flared at the climax of a fractious showdown.
The final whistle also saw Richard Wigglesworth of Leicester and John Afoa of Bristol tussle near the corner flag, resulting in players from both sides running in and leading the incident involving Genge and Hughes. However, the citing officer reportedly declined to trigger disciplinary proceedings due to no offences reaching the threshold of a red card."
Oh there's huge dissagreements on this Pete - especially from the Irish.
It's not perfect, nothing is in Rugby these days and Wales and others are fighting for their piece of the pie. I can't say I agree with non-European clubs (South African) being able to qualify for the European Champions Cup etc., but ALL nations need the money, especially during current times.
As for the new 16 Team Format, I personally welcome the addition of the SA teams and certainly the money and support they will bring (TV and audience). If we are going to invite South African teams to the (European) Champions League though, then it it needs to be re-named...... And do we have a "World League"? Fun, but utter chaos.....

I've read it but not studied it, and I think it needs to be studied before you can fully understand how it will work...
Jurie Roux, CEO of SA Rugby: "South African rugby has for many years imagined a future aligned with northern-hemisphere rugby and this announcement marks the arrival of that vision.
"Our teams will be pitting themselves against the leading clubs from four nations, steeped in rugby tradition and folklore. They'll do it without having to cross time zones or acclimatise while 100% of matches will kick off in South African prime time."
But the northern hemisphere teams will have to cross time zones and acclimatise...?
And it's a bit odd to think that South African teams will qualify for the European Champions Cup! Sounds a bit like Eurovision!
Anyway, however it works, it must be good for the game to have more competitive games against southern hemisphere clubs.

Completely agree. SA Clubs cannot qualify for Europe, but then again if they're bringing money into the "PRO16"/URC", how can you refuse entry if they qualify through that tournament?
The RFU (England) are voicing their concerns (and rightly so IMHO) - their clubs are not involved in the "PRO16"/URC but are obviously heavily involved in the European Cups.....
Perhaps we do need to have a World Championship, perhaps this is the ultimate goal? Seasons would have to be aligned plus God only knows what else. Club Football has their World Cup doesn't it, how does that work?
