WE GOT RAIN.....at last. Such a feeling of 'belonging'. I was getting quite peed off that everyone was getting rain and I was having to turn the sprinklers on daily. Anyway, we got it and with a vengeance.

My newly filled pool (finished by this morning) has now overflowed!!!

I played golf at Lake View for the first time in about a year today. I have played there on and off(about 40/50 times) for about 6 years or so now. Usually the place is bone dry, with large cracks, and the rough has been pretty non existent due dry dusty conditions

But I was blown away as to lush and green it was! They must be getting way more rain up there this year than Hua Hin City has had.... which is precious little!

Just seemed odd with all this talk of droughts. Unless they have changed their policy on irrigation and are now watering the living daylights out of the place!

Thunder and lightning galore. Very heavy black clouds overhead which because it's me, passed over then vanished into the distance without dropping a cup of water on my garden.

Time to switch on the sprinklers again.

Hate to say it, but at the other end of 112.....

Not as much as I was expecting came down though, based on the blacks clouds and everything else.
Talk is cheap
