To send you need to use the SMTP server of the internet provider, for 1-2-call its mail.cscoms.com, I don't know about the other mobile networks.

There is a list of servers for Thai ISPs at the bottom of this page:

Yeah, that'll work when you're using EDGE/GPRS via your mobile, if you connect using a different provider you'll need to change the SMTP server to theirs.

Well, anyone using Firefox out there, which is a few I'm sure, might want to have a look at this link, seems to be a couple on security holes they have fixed with these new updates yesterday.

If you have Firefox installed it will upgrade automatically.

Correct. Upon log-in this morning Firefox upgraded automatically to version 3.0.13. But after that it said if I wanted to be up-to-date I should manually download the latest version Firefox 3.5

Is this because it is a beta version you can choose to stay away from?
And if so, should I?

i've been using firefox 3.5 for a few months now, it's not that much different but it is faster!
my machine crashes on a regular basis though :( (on a variety of programs but none in particular & with no real pattern), but it does reload & fix quite quickly.
it can be a pain sometimes & i did think about going back to the earlier edition but i decided to persevere & be one of the many beta guinea pigs.
all crash reports help to improve the new version, so it's not exactly a lost cause :D
my mums pc, which is on 3.5 doesn't crash at all despite having similar programs installed :? :?

so my advice would be to try it & if it gives you problems, just revert back to the previous edition :thumb:

Firefox 3.5.2 is a full release, have installed it on 4 computers now without a hitch and without any crashes. There are not too many differences aside from the speed, it makes IE look like its on dialup (and thats very important in a country where internet speeds are marginally faster than dialup!)

So now I am on FF 3.5.2. Now with about every other page I open I get the message "cannot connect to server". Refresh page solves the problem but a bit inconvient of course. I remember that someone on HHAD had the same problem. And I think there was a solution as well. Can anyone lead me to this post please.

Roel,

I think you're talking about this thread:

http://www.huahinafterdark.com/forum/po ... ht=#136496

You may need the opendns fix that Sandman posted a link to... It worked for me for a similar problem...
My brain is like an Internet browser; 12 tabs are open and 5 of them are not responding, there's a GIF playing in an endless loop,... and where is that annoying music coming from?
